my coworker "adopted" a capybara at the san francisco zoo. he has a picture of her up on his wall.

I adopted a blind and crippled pug once named Geraldine as a birthday present for my mom because she <3's pugs and that's her name too. We got monthly updates and pictures. It was awesome.

my company once got a sponsorship request from a guy that was going to south america to make a video of himself hunting capybara. he said he had been all over the world to hunt exotic animals.

btw did u guys know capybara meat is officially considered fish by the catholic church? south american missionaries basically intimated at some point that they would starve to death during lent if they werent allowed to eat capybara, and thus a concession was made~
