I was in an airport yesterday! Unfortunately I couldn't post from there (phone not fancy enough) and also I was only there for about 30 mins, the time it took to find out my flight was cancelled and get resched for today.

I will be in an airport again in a few hours. Hope for better luck.

Aghagahagah, so the plane I don't necessarily have a seat on has 'maintenance issues'. I should have gone with my instincts and drunk another dirty martini (it was a very dirty dirty martini, all gin and salty olive juice).

Houston Intercontinental airport is nice, spacious, modern, and efficient, in my experience. Though my main other reference is Chicago O'Hare, which is a pitiful, decrepit excuse for an airport.

aww all the electronics stores in terminal 1 are pretty overpriced iirc. you can buy cheap booze at the duty free and uncork it, there are no open container laws.
