I asked Hikaru a couple weeks back if he was worried about the edge his tournament opponents can gain by analyzing all his streamed chess content. He said that he maintains a completely separate set of openings for stream so that OTB opponents can't do that. Wild and impressive.

think i leveled up (KNOCK ON WOOD) my rating is up 50+pts for the last week, feels a lil more stable/prolonged than just being on a heater, i somehow just started playing/seeing more dynamic positions, which is interesting cause it seems to come with more variance in winning/losing games with wider margins, also seems like players at my level arent necessarily comfortable playing those types of positions, im seeing people time out and make blunders

How's your chess going lagoon? I mostly do puzzles/tactics at the moment - barely playing any blitz.

I have stopped playing after not progressing to an expected extent after two years made evident by being being soundly defeated by a local high school
