Y'know, I realized that When your not reading half a years worth of strips in 2 days, reading these storylines as they go along is pretty tedious, or is this one just bad (which i think it probably is).

he doesn't pre-plan his storylines and the results are occasionally magical and often disappointing.

i'm just confused as to why you would spend years developing these v. complete characters and then basically not challenge them in any way.

I have high hopes for the resolution on this one. Forreal.

This always seems shit if I follow it 1 strip at a time, but what made me like Achewood in the first place was the cumulative effect of reading the archive about 50 strips at a time. That way the more nothing-y strips just fill in the gaps between lols without being a a dissapointment. Not to say I don't think the quality has declined.
