thanks dudes. I’m still in it. Cough is very mild and no shortness of breath which is giving me cause for optimism. odd flashes of pain in the base of my skull. nights are absolutely terrible. mornings i can barely tell i have it. untold numbers of family members sharing “one weird trick” etc

I should probably start a “my experience with the ‘rona” thread given how many of us will soon likely be able to contribute :|

Glad to hear it's bearable so far. And yeah, that sounds like a good thread idea.

It's good to see you are getting through it, Tracer 👍

Interesting - KCL epidemiologist on BBC says loss of taste/smell, and extreme fatigue are proving to be more common symptoms in COVID19 than fever. UK have been criticised for focusing so narrowly on cough/fever as symptoms, compared to other countries eg France.

You got much fever TH? I haven’t but have pretty much everything else. (Get well soon btw!)

stet, Monday, 30 March 2020 21:22 (six years ago)

Saw Ted Knight do a talk a few weeks ago for new Lab members. It was by equal measures quite boring and yet at times very fiery and fearsome too.

I am so sad to hear that my old comrade Ted Knight has died. He was one of the finest and most courageous socialists I have known. He devoted his life to the greatest cause there is, humanity. https://t.co/eyKZfrboLa

With all these happy clappers volunteering for the NHS surely some of them can fill in the gaps! Time might be right for something like Goebbels winter clothes appeal only with millions of people leaving mountains of completely useless B+Q PPE in NHS carparks.

I wonder how many extra thousands will die because of these thick twats and of course them huge crowds of posh lager louts and stupid hats at Cheltenham around the same time. Never mind neighbours sneaking out for an extra run.

A rat done bit my sister Nell with Biden on the nom (Noodle Vague), Tuesday, 31 March 2020 14:04 (six years ago)

why is the UK not reporting anyone as recovering btw? is it because there's no testing? if you look at the graph, as it stands 93% of completed cases result in death. seems like they just aren't reporting that anyone is getting better, they just stay permanently currently infected. other countries aren't doing this

Colonel Poo, Tuesday, 31 March 2020 14:35 (six years ago)

i was gonna make a post a few days ago about what seems - to me - to be the difference between the way the Beeb in particular is reporting stats in the UK vs the way they're prepared to report Italy or Spain
