Can't see things restarting for a long time. Possibly restart the season in a year's time, trying to pick up where we left off (though many clubs could have gone under by then).

IMO let's just create one super season. add this year's points into last year, like 60 match season. see if Liverpool can still win the Premiership with their current cushion.

If the government's right and other European nations are going to be in the middle of a second, worse spike around the summer, i can't see any major sporting competitions taking place, even if the UK isn't as badly hit.

it's nonsensical this far into the season and with Liverpool so far at the top to just render the season null and void. if they need to why don't they just postpone the games until later in the year and then have a shorter championship next year.

Yep. Top of the table clash for FC Utd at South Shields tomorrow is apparently still going ahead, but what the fuck for I have no idea. There seems zero chance of them finishing the season. The question is more how many clubs will go under over the next 6, 9, 12 or however many months it takes.

The only way to keep the clubs solvent is to suspend all rents & mortgages for the duration of the epidemic. In fact, abolish money for a while. I'm sure everyone'll be happy to go back to the old ways once we're covid-clear.
