Of the Super Tuesday states, which ones are either swingy or are in some sense "like" swingy states? North Carolina maybe? Virginia? Certainly those are two states where if the same person wins both they're winning the election and it's not out of the question. Minnesota has a decent amount in common with Wisconsin and Michigan. I agree that for GE purposes it's kind of sadly irrelevant what Democrats in California and Oklahoma think.

I think Warren is basically fine

I think Sanders is basically fine

I think Biden is totally fucked but I will be fine if he is President

I think Bloomberg is a gigantic ghoul but I will probably be fine if he is President

totally unnecessary bewbz of exploitation (DJP), Tuesday, 3 March 2020 19:46 (six years ago)

she is very passionate about the issues she thinks are important, and is more focused on that than she has been on advertising herself.

This makes more sense to me as a critique of Sanders than Warren. He doesn't do biography; she talks a lot about her upbringing and how she got into politics.

jaymc, Tuesday, 3 March 2020 19:47 (six years ago)

I don't trust Bernie to be a good president and I think most of his plans are pretty half-baked. that said i probably do prefer him over biden + bloomberg or maybe all 3 are about equal in my eyes.

― Mordy, Tuesday, March 3, 2020 2:44 PM (two minutes ago) bookmarkflaglink

you are aware that the candidates “plans” don’t matter with a republican senate, right?

k3vin k., Tuesday, 3 March 2020 19:47 (six years ago)

so i shouldn't care what those plans are?

Mordy, Tuesday, 3 March 2020 19:48 (six years ago)

iatee would have us believe that with a Republican Senate we should prefer the candidate with the fewest plans

Swilling Ambergris, Esq. (silby), Tuesday, 3 March 2020 19:48 (six years ago)

I know the polls show Bernie & Biden taking a similar lead on Trump but Biden generally has no ideas and is a poor campaigner, plus his political record is downright atrocious and those things are all gonna matter down the stretch

frogbs, Tuesday, 3 March 2020 19:49 (six years ago)

Bloomberg would start a shooting war within six weeks just to get his rocks off, and probably hand out some fat contracts to GEO to build new cages for detained immigrants.

Swilling Ambergris, Esq. (silby), Tuesday, 3 March 2020 19:49 (six years ago)

Bloomberg would start a shooting war within six weeks just to get his rocks off

this is incredibly stupid

totally unnecessary bewbz of exploitation (DJP), Tuesday, 3 March 2020 19:50 (six years ago)

silby what is that speculation based on?

Mordy, Tuesday, 3 March 2020 19:50 (six years ago)

so i shouldn't care what those plans are?

― Mordy, Tuesday, March 3, 2020 2:48 PM (one minute ago) bookmarkflaglink

I mean, if you like splitting hairs and arguing on the internet, sure

k3vin k., Tuesday, 3 March 2020 19:50 (six years ago)

There's an argument that Biden is the actually the best opportunity for the Democrats to win the Senate.

jaymc, Tuesday, 3 March 2020 19:51 (six years ago)

Bloomberg would start a shooting war within six weeks just to get his rocks off

this is incredibly stupid

bad mood, bean allergy, anxious about covid-19, think Bloomberg is a racist piece of shit with bloodlust

Swilling Ambergris, Esq. (silby), Tuesday, 3 March 2020 19:52 (six years ago)

not sure of work task to do, so posting

Swilling Ambergris, Esq. (silby), Tuesday, 3 March 2020 19:52 (six years ago)

Someone like me in 20 years will perhaps be closer to fine with Sanders now, someone like me will be much closer to fucked with Biden.

Greta Van Show Feets BB (milo z), Tuesday, 3 March 2020 19:52 (six years ago)

Yeah Bloomberg admitting climate change is real and bringing you Market Solutions to ‘combat’ it is probably outweighed by the fact that if a BLM or immigrant protest happens in his watch he’s a weird angry tiny authoritarian who will revel in using military force to squash it

A-B-C. A-Always, B-Be, C-Chooglin (will), Tuesday, 3 March 2020 19:53 (six years ago)

he is also an investor in fracking

brooklyn suicide cult (Dr Morbius), Tuesday, 3 March 2020 19:54 (six years ago)

he's an investor in lots of things. he's a billionaire.

Mordy, Tuesday, 3 March 2020 19:54 (six years ago)

he should stop

Swilling Ambergris, Esq. (silby), Tuesday, 3 March 2020 19:55 (six years ago)

the only thing worse than a fake billionaire for president would be a real billionaire

Swilling Ambergris, Esq. (silby), Tuesday, 3 March 2020 19:55 (six years ago)

Yes, those making environmental arguments in favor (however mild) of Bloomberg should dig a little deeper.

Lake Meat (Old Lunch), Tuesday, 3 March 2020 19:55 (six years ago)

maybe Obama will be the last non-billionaire president

A-B-C. A-Always, B-Be, C-Chooglin (will), Tuesday, 3 March 2020 19:56 (six years ago)

As a billionaire, then, he doesn't need to be investing in fracking. He has plenty of money.

This isn't someone buying stocks in a bad company with their IRA, he doesn't need more.

Greta Van Show Feets BB (milo z), Tuesday, 3 March 2020 19:56 (six years ago)

maybe Trump will be

omar little, Tuesday, 3 March 2020 19:56 (six years ago)

DJP otm

El Tomboto, Tuesday, 3 March 2020 19:57 (six years ago)

if you like splitting hairs and arguing on the internet

Fortunately this does not describe any extant ilx0rz

Someone like me in 20 years will perhaps be closer to fine with Sanders now, someone like me will be much closer to fucked with Biden.

you miss 100 percent of the jello shots you don't take (Ye Mad Puffin), Tuesday, 3 March 2020 19:57 (six years ago)

The problem with Biden is he'd probably lose to Trump, the problem with Bloomberg is he's dogshit

Swilling Ambergris, Esq. (silby), Tuesday, 3 March 2020 19:58 (six years ago)

truly astonished by ilxors assessing him as "basically fine"

Swilling Ambergris, Esq. (silby), Tuesday, 3 March 2020 19:59 (six years ago)

it’s mordy

k3vin k., Tuesday, 3 March 2020 19:59 (six years ago)

he's an investor in lots of things. he's a billionaire.

hence, no billionaires in office, ever, esp autocrats

brooklyn suicide cult (Dr Morbius), Tuesday, 3 March 2020 20:01 (six years ago)

Is your bad mood damaging your reading comprehension, silby?

totally unnecessary bewbz of exploitation (DJP), Tuesday, 3 March 2020 20:01 (six years ago)

Definitely

Swilling Ambergris, Esq. (silby), Tuesday, 3 March 2020 20:02 (six years ago)

what is that speculation based on?

wars are always "good for business"? including the one we've been fighting nonstop since 2001?

brooklyn suicide cult (Dr Morbius), Tuesday, 3 March 2020 20:02 (six years ago)

I mean I am not one to hold myself out as posting calmly as I normally do when I’m posting agitatedly

Swilling Ambergris, Esq. (silby), Tuesday, 3 March 2020 20:02 (six years ago)

Swilling Ambergris, Esq. (silby), Tuesday, 3 March 2020 20:04 (six years ago)

it’s mordy

i said he'd be better than trump on a host of issues esp climate change and he would. i didn't say he'd be basically fine.

James can Comey-t a big bag of dicks IMO

Lake Meat (Old Lunch), Tuesday, 3 March 2020 20:09 (six years ago)

It's like that old saying: "As goes Comey, so goes the electorate"

totally unnecessary bewbz of exploitation (DJP), Tuesday, 3 March 2020 20:10 (six years ago)

true in 2016

Greta Van Show Feets BB (milo z), Tuesday, 3 March 2020 20:11 (six years ago)

hey who knows maybe this smug goofy fuck will be the butterfly effect that brings us Trump twice

A-B-C. A-Always, B-Be, C-Chooglin (will), Tuesday, 3 March 2020 20:12 (six years ago)

the election so nice, Comey ruined it twice

sorry for butt rockin (Neanderthal), Tuesday, 3 March 2020 20:15 (six years ago)

more than trace amounts of malarkey to be found there

honky wonk badonkadonk (crüt), Tuesday, 3 March 2020 20:17 (six years ago)

Imagining Mika 'n' Joe twinkling merrily at Comey as he explains himself, I'd rather jump in front of my car.

TikTok to the (Alfred, Lord Sotosyn), Tuesday, 3 March 2020 20:19 (six years ago)

if Bloomberg dips if/when Biden gets the nom (ugh) and doesnt spend approx twice what he did on his little idiotic exercise in narcissism on every single senate and house dem candidate within a margin of 10 pts I will make sure the last thing I eat is his still beating heart. U!S!A!

A-B-C. A-Always, B-Be, C-Chooglin (will), Tuesday, 3 March 2020 20:21 (six years ago)

Any delegates Bloomberg gets will most likely go to Biden within the first round of the convention

honky wonk badonkadonk (crüt), Tuesday, 3 March 2020 20:24 (six years ago)

glad to see everybody took my suggestion to log out and chill, and that this thread has in no way become an exhausting and overheated melee of badness

Doctor Casino, Tuesday, 3 March 2020 20:26 (six years ago)

Chris Wray gonna announce an investigation into Burisma late October, then clear Biden two years into the second Trump term.

Josh in Chicago, Tuesday, 3 March 2020 20:26 (six years ago)

Any delegates Bloomberg gets
