The problem is, the people who say this, or who support her outright, appear to be greatly outnumbered by the people who have zero interest in voting for her.

The candidate who agrees with me on eight things is great, the candidate who agrees with me on seven things is the literal devil from hell, this is not hard to understand people.

The GOP/the media/the Russians(maybe?)/the Illuminati (definitely) have done a really good job of sowing division among everybody left of Trump. I really really hope the narcissism of minor differences doesn't wind up handing him reelection on a satin pillow alongside a scrumptious dinner mint.

This reminds me of how everyone whinged about all-white candidates remaining onstage when for the most part we can assume they never once voted for or donated to any of the candidates of color

Voted Sanders in the Democrats Abroad primary (21 delegates at stake) because although I like Warren a lot, I don’t like the DNC coming together to prop up Biden, and ensure my mother says nothing but hunterbidenhunterbidenhunterbiden for the next eight months.

Want a president who understands that for this country to have any future at all, the Republican Party must be ground into dust? Vote Warren.

I mean, realistically it hardly matters at this point; America is a bankrupt casino that's more than halfway on fire at this point. If you're not born rich here, you might as well hang yourself in your crib. But that's the landscape as I see it. I mean, Sanders thinks the Senate should keep all its current powers and yet somehow he'll sit behind the Resolute Desk, wave his arms and croak "Revolution!" and suddenly everyone will have single payer health care and Wall Street will become a worker-owned co-op.

I voted for Warren so I could maintain my almost 100% record of voting for the person who doesn't get the nomination.

All the narrative of Dem disarray ignores that we pointed and laughed at the Republican primary fiasco and stated they might be over as a party and dude still managed to win.

A congested field that can't produce a majority winner mighta been damaging decades ago, but in polarized era where several hundred electoral votes are pretty much guaranteed based on what letter is next to your name, it matters little in long term prognosis.

Also the "Warren can't win vs she can win if people just voted for her" debate has been recycled in near identical form here for three days. It's getting played.

btw voting for warren is fine imo, I am still a supporter of hers and would happily vote for her in the general election. I think the polling math is suggesting somewhat clearly that she is going to have a really tough time getting a plurality of delegates and that voting for her when bernie is also a palatable option increases the chances of a contested convention and in turn a biden nomination, but I also strongly suppport voting one's conscience and if she is your candidate I have no problem with that

it is a little interesting how many of the same people who love to invoke math are willing to ignore that this time around, but that's politics, baby!

Warren declared her candicacy well before Bernie iirc; I do recall at the time hoping he just wouldn't run and would put the force of his coalition behind her campaign. But I guess he figured he was the better person for the job. At this point, I hope he's right.
