klobuchar will surely drop out after super tuesday too, she's only staying in because she has a good chance of winning minnesota which otherwise sanders would probably run away with.

who fucking knows at this point what warren will do though

can we just human centipede our favorite three candidates together

biden is now the youngest remaining man ffs

mookieproof, Monday, 2 March 2020 01:55 (six years ago)

that was at least one thing Buttigieg had going for him. he's younger than me.

would like to see the Presidency get progressively less geriatric

sorry for butt rockin (Neanderthal), Monday, 2 March 2020 01:55 (six years ago)

warren really going after bernie in some video clip I just watched. surprised.

Brownface vs stealing anti-apartheid valor

Greta Van Show Feets BB (milo z), Monday, 2 March 2020 02:18 (six years ago)

really exhausted with all the galaxy-brain takes on twitter, eg 'every vote not for bernie is a vote for biden!', 'bernie didn't go to selma, he's such a racist!'

every once in a while this one dude pops up, in response to whatever the latest news is, demanding that bernie drop out and become warren's vp, and how deeply misogynistic he is for not doing so

i'm not following these people, i just need to mute better

mookieproof, Monday, 2 March 2020 02:22 (six years ago)

feel like you could play Bingo with the amount of bizarre takes on Twitter for just about every topic, but especially political races.

i found one dude who kept saying during the super bowl that both teams on the field were "infected", but idk with what

sorry for butt rockin (Neanderthal), Monday, 2 March 2020 02:27 (six years ago)

I did see one that basically said Trump has already won since Buttigieg dropped out. very weird take considering I think Buttigieg isn't battle tested for the brain worms coming at him that those debates would entail

sorry for butt rockin (Neanderthal), Monday, 2 March 2020 02:28 (six years ago)

wtf I can't post in the right thread anymore I think I'm coming down w something

Webcam Du Bois (Hadrian VIII), Monday, 2 March 2020 02:29 (six years ago)

538 just updated their odds. 64% chance of brokered convention (up from previous 59%). Bernie at 23% odds of having a majority of delegates by convention, Biden at just 12%, everybody else below 1%.

others dropping out of course could change that drastically.

Blues Guitar Solo Heatmap (Free Download) (upper mississippi sh@kedown), Monday, 2 March 2020 02:57 (six years ago)

Her base, in particular, is kind of irrelevant - upper middle class liberals and liberals with graduate degrees are going to vote the Democrat regardless.

As one of those people, let me just concede that the above is completely true and there is no strategic justification whatsoever for Democrats to take my preferences into account when choosing a nominee. You put a D after it, I'll vote for it. I have no credible threat of exit.

He took out 2 full page ads in the A section of my Sunday paper. Not surprising but Christ he is unavoidable. I have yet to receive a single mailer but for the 3 - plus a letter - I received from him.

It might be time to strengthen my recommendation from “don’t listen to a politician speak” to include “don’t read their tweets” and maybe “don’t read what they said”

now, that's very understandable. this year is shaping up to be a sad one. my best hope is spending time outdoors as much as possible. I find nature helps my sadness.

The fanfic and political cosplay by Biden and Warren supporters again shows how many Americans prefer fantasy to reality. The larger culture encourages illusion, but countless people are eager to play their subservient role. Reality angers them, and not in a productive way.
