fuckin stream is exactly as shit as this schoolboy match deserves

BSC Joan Baez (darraghmac), Sunday, 16 February 2020 15:14 (six years ago)

I think that's our second headed goal and first goal from a corner of the season

Mbwana Samatta looks fairly tidy, I like him so far

Dadjokke (Sgt. Biscuits), Sunday, 16 February 2020 15:15 (six years ago)

the speed of thought of chess, the subtlety of workingmans club wrestling, the professionalism of darts

BSC Joan Baez (darraghmac), Sunday, 16 February 2020 15:16 (six years ago)

this team has it all

BSC Joan Baez (darraghmac), Sunday, 16 February 2020 15:17 (six years ago)

I momentarily thought that was disconcertingly aggressive counterpoint re: Samatta

britwres is a surprisingly elaborate and complex art form iirc

Dadjokke (Sgt. Biscuits), Sunday, 16 February 2020 15:19 (six years ago)

Terrific ball from Aurier. Son has been pretty wasteful.

ShariVari, Sunday, 16 February 2020 15:22 (six years ago)

I have a degree of insight into that due to having a behavioural disorder that causes me to violently wristlock anybody who offers to predetermine the outcome of a professional football fixture for me, and I tell you what if you offered me a point out of this game I'd snap your hand off

Dadjokke (Sgt. Biscuits), Sunday, 16 February 2020 15:22 (six years ago)

El Ghazi like one of the top tier PES Master League default players with good enough stats to get him into position for opportunities that he then always flubs

Dadjokke (Sgt. Biscuits), Sunday, 16 February 2020 15:25 (six years ago)

prefers andrew el ghazi im told

BSC Joan Baez (darraghmac), Sunday, 16 February 2020 15:26 (six years ago)

not sure son shook that first tackle off tbh

BSC Joan Baez (darraghmac), Sunday, 16 February 2020 15:27 (six years ago)

Sort of feel like every match Grealish plays a full 90 should have 7 minutes of stoppage time

Dadjokke (Sgt. Biscuits), Sunday, 16 February 2020 15:35 (six years ago)

judging managerial performance is a nonsense, bill

weve been awful off the ball and limited on it and dele alli alone has spurned four serviceable chances to even test reina from inside the box.

how do you even begin to say what os and isn't working from it, like.

BSC Joan Baez (darraghmac), Sunday, 16 February 2020 15:36 (six years ago)

also puzzling is how a team so gutlessly halfhearted in the tackle still manage to end up giving away so many fouls and bookings

a nonsense, bill.

BSC Joan Baez (darraghmac), Sunday, 16 February 2020 15:37 (six years ago)

tell yr kids you were there, a serge aurier defensive intervention that didnt make an hilarious vinnie jones channel 5 comp

BSC Joan Baez (darraghmac), Sunday, 16 February 2020 15:41 (six years ago)

It’s at least encouraging Spurs are creating so many chances, even if they don’t look remotely capable of taking any of them.

ShariVari, Sunday, 16 February 2020 15:45 (six years ago)

If Villa get anything out of this they should just transfer the gate receipts to Reina's account

Dadjokke (Sgt. Biscuits), Sunday, 16 February 2020 15:46 (six years ago)

i was just wondering whether villa are always this porous

jesus but the fear of just cunting it home is apparent, every one of these lads turns towards where kane isnt like they're looking for mecca

BSC Joan Baez (darraghmac), Sunday, 16 February 2020 15:47 (six years ago)

gwan some cunt tell me again about auriers attacking qualities

utter dogshit crosser of the ball, a fuckin waste of anything given him including food

BSC Joan Baez (darraghmac), Sunday, 16 February 2020 15:49 (six years ago)

Never in doubt.

ShariVari, Sunday, 16 February 2020 15:53 (six years ago)

Suggest Banshee (Hadrian VIII), Sunday, 16 February 2020 15:53 (six years ago)

BSC Joan Baez (darraghmac), Sunday, 16 February 2020 15:54 (six years ago)

BSC Joan Baez (darraghmac), Sunday, 16 February 2020 15:55 (six years ago)

Yes, Villa are always this porous

Dadjokke (Sgt. Biscuits), Sunday, 16 February 2020 15:56 (six years ago)

ce n'est pas seulement pour eh us then

BSC Joan Baez (darraghmac), Sunday, 16 February 2020 16:12 (six years ago)

interesting VAR decision there

Chelsea have one ruled out for a push on Brandon Williams by Azpilicueta, who was himself pushed by Fred

Number None, Monday, 17 February 2020 21:22 (six years ago)

Chelsea not having much luck tonight

groovypanda, Monday, 17 February 2020 21:46 (six years ago)

yeah, the Giroud decision wasn't really controversial though

despite the commentators best efforts to make it so

Number None, Monday, 17 February 2020 21:59 (six years ago)

son out for weeks with a fractured arm. time for troy.

oscar bravo, Tuesday, 18 February 2020 11:34 (six years ago)

hit on son was imo the kind of physical tackle that prob out to be under a microscope a bit more but i realise im in a minority here

BSC Joan Baez (darraghmac), Tuesday, 18 February 2020 11:43 (six years ago)

cue Jose’s sad trombone
“My thoughts are that Troy Parrott is not ready,” Mourinho said

mizzell, Tuesday, 18 February 2020 15:23 (six years ago)

A Parrott can never replace a Son.

Load up your rubber wallets (Tom D.), Tuesday, 18 February 2020 15:25 (six years ago)

Never have ye needed Vincent 'El Toro' Janssen more. (yes, that's his nickname now)

Le Bateau Ivre, Tuesday, 18 February 2020 15:33 (six years ago)

Son, I'm 30

Wuhan!! Got You All in Check (Camaraderie at Arms Length), Tuesday, 18 February 2020 16:00 (six years ago)

Number None, Tuesday, 18 February 2020 18:42 (six years ago)

Those fans are not into PR spin. They sing from the heart. "Sheikh Mansour, My Lord, Sheikh Mansour".

🤢

Dadjokke (Sgt. Biscuits), Thursday, 20 February 2020 11:56 (six years ago)

ian wright's desert island discs is wrecking me right now.

oscar bravo, Friday, 21 February 2020 09:42 (six years ago)

Thank you for the kind messages about #DesertIslandDiscs 🙏🏾 And special thank you to @laurenlaverne who was absolutely brilliant host during what was an emotional few hours recording ♥️♥️♥️ https://t.co/Y6KmBJwwzH

— Ian Wright (@IanWright0) February 16, 2020

Beautiful.

Le Bateau Ivre, Friday, 21 February 2020 10:43 (six years ago)

That episode was a tough listen and his love for that teacher is beautiful.

(The cynic in me is seeing a huge amount of sentimentalising of teachers and teaching at the moment. Every podcast I listen to has a personal story style ad attached to it. The advertising has gone from 'look, being a teacher makes you rich!' because, well, it doesn't, towards this more charitable, benevolent, 'teachers can change your life' stuff, which might be true but can you stick your mawkish ads up your arse, sort out the funding and pay them properly, please?)

Ngolo Cantwell (Chinaski), Friday, 21 February 2020 11:13 (six years ago)

Wrighty is fucking awful, what's right with you people?!

calzino, Friday, 21 February 2020 11:22 (six years ago)

you'll be getting misty eyed over another septic pimple like Neil Warnock next!

calzino, Friday, 21 February 2020 11:31 (six years ago)

empathy is a curious thing isn't it

imago, Friday, 21 February 2020 11:33 (six years ago)

I'm allergic to celebs tbh. I save my empathy for people with real problems not self-indulgent bathos on the old wireless.

calzino, Friday, 21 February 2020 11:35 (six years ago)

mr pigden sounds like a legitimate source of empathy to me

imago, Friday, 21 February 2020 11:38 (six years ago)

As are Wrighty's experiences growing up. He's ordinary as a pundit, sure.

Ngolo Cantwell (Chinaski), Friday, 21 February 2020 11:40 (six years ago)

growing up terrified of your stepfather ,watching your mum get abused, going to prison . not real problems. okay.

oscar bravo, Friday, 21 February 2020 11:42 (six years ago)

He's that much of an obnoxious boorish cunt he once compelled me to be on Roy Keane's side, and that is somewhere I really don't want to be.

calzino, Friday, 21 February 2020 11:44 (six years ago)

plenty of us have endured all sorts of shit in our childhoods and I don't doubt he had a very tough upbringing himself, but it doesn't mean I'm going make allowances for what a nauseating personality he is.

calzino, Friday, 21 February 2020 11:56 (six years ago)

sorry if I'm being an arse here, but I just cannot stand the fucker - his voice put's me on edge and he reminds me of a total dickhead I used to work with.

calzino, Friday, 21 February 2020 12:06 (six years ago)

the sentimentalising of celebrity travails is a bit of a "hand me the remote" for me usually, but idk, this one seems to have something genuine to it too.

as for wrighty, hes....normal? i mean, that includes that hes often moronic, im sure he holds views about football and life and everything else that would make him a pain in the arse and certainly a BAD ILXOR but does he seem like that bad a fella? id pick a good twenty regular pundits ahead of him for a fuckin kicking i must say.
