Guys, I am realizing tonight, as I think about the fact that this Iowa vote, dumb as it is, could be a killing blow to Elizabeth Warren's campaign, is that I really do in my heart want her to win. I mean I have questions about her ability to win a general election, I really do. I don't know strategically what's right and I don't even know who I'm going to vote for. But when I think about her campaign being over, and the sinking feeling that gives me, I realize that when it comes down to it she's the one I most want to be my President.

Now let's see what happens, I guess.

if she places second or third and gets more than 15% she still gets delegates so idk I wouldn't count her campaign out yet.

I think she'd nominate the best Cabinet and agency heads, and her temperament suggests she'd listen, keep an open mind, but be firm once she's made a decision. And I want a woman as president.

One hopes that Biden is more easily discouraged by early caucuses and primaries than Warren is, even if his votes are higher than hers.

Meanwhile, several satellite locations were held for Iowa snowbirds in Florida and Arizona. At one location in Port Charlotte, Florida, which was broadcast live by CNN, Amy Klobuchar carried the room. Here are those numbers:

Biden: 32
Warren: 12
Steyer: 2
Sanders: 1
Yang: 1

Second Alignment:

Klobuchar: 56
Buttigieg: 44
Biden: 43

I feel bad for supporters waiting at caucus parties waiting for results, but watching the CNN anchors going nuts because Iowa hasn’t dropped the numbers yet is very satisfying

we had new cards where once you’re locked into your groups and are positive who you support, you fill out side one. if your candidate isn’t viable (15%) you fill out side two

a handful of people had to be called up because they filled out both sides for no reason and those cards were deemed invalid. ok, rules, whatever.

I think they’re holding off and reporting everything at once, which is not what makes good tv or live reporting
