honestly couldn't care less about the Nacho/Gus storyline and wish the show was 90% Jimmy w/occasional Mike content

I think Kim's fate--how she gets written out--is the most intriguing thing for most viewers at this point.

I don't think they were necessarily finished but Kim definitely was starting to have her doubts

I'm not sure they really need to explain why she's "written out" of BB, I don't know exactly what scenes she would've fit into. but yeah it seems pretty likely that relationship won't last.

She had no place in BB, I agree, but it's more that--unless I've forgotten--Saul never even alludes to her; how did he so thoroughly erase her from his life? On the other hand, having just rewatched the entirety of BB, it struck me that Saul is almost a different character; kind of one-dimensionally funny, but not much more beyond that. So there's a disconnect that you probably just take as is, without requiring much explanation re Kim.

It didn’t initially but then they staged an event to make jimmy appear more human and sincere re chuck’s death (some kind of benefit and “anonymous” donation iirc?)

high point of the show was that hearing w/ the cellphone slipped in Chuck's pocket, they telegraphed that plot point from S1 but it was still really well done

anyway I really doubt they're gonna kill off Kim, she's really the one and only character in this series that you can root for

Watching this again from the start. It might be a weird thing but I love the sound in S1, like just background sounds are a little heightened so the non-dialogue parts are really noticeable.

Also it's just a darn good show.

Oh god I forgot about the scam montage in S01E10 so good

it's a minor thing but god bless whoever decided "our intro will be 20 seconds long." after watching Man in the High Castle, Westworld and The Expanse and feeling like i was being subjected to Art someone thought was Incredibly Important via their intros it's a nice change.

finally watching this for the first time.

I enjoy all the micro-details that Gilligan and company get right in both this and Breaking Bad. the mundane bits are interesting.

this is a wee bit more dramatic than I expected but Odenkirk is always entertaining.

love this show but "Saul" in heavy doses sometimes stresses me out. I actually am uncomfortable with people that lie a lot, even fictitious ones. it's a me thing - i'm the worst liar in real life because the concept is alien to me

afaik Netflix gets the previous season about two weeks before the new season, every time.

So maybe the secret construction slaga to: Mike crosses the Rubicon ov blood yet again shoka--will actually be redeemed, in terms of possibly promising consequences (the basic tension, many faces of Gus, better not say more if you haven't seen the season opener). Other good stuff more as expected, but good. Adios, Robert Forster!

First two episodes were pretty good (I had to wait an extra day to see them)--meant to rewatch the last episode of S4 as a bridge, but I think I'm more or less up to speed. I like the D.A. Saul cuts the deals with in the elevator.

Normally when you watch a show part of the excitement is finding out what happens next but this show wouldn't be as good if we didn't know what happened to Jimmy. It's how he gets there that's interesting

Though i would love some gene each episode.

Highlight of the S5 opener was Robert Forster's presence (and the dedication at the end of the show).

I was worried that they were going to make his appearance dovetail with his appearance in the El Camino netflix movie. He gets off the phone as his front door chimes and they pan to the left to show Jesse Pinkman walking in.

Pretty sure we're a couple years down the line in the timeline, now, depending on how long he's been working at that Cinnabon
