Re: Stairway they don't generally play it but I dunno if you know N Robert Plant is a regular at the Mol and Wolves for life

the Swedish taboo (Noodle Vague), Thursday, 23 January 2020 23:40 (six years ago)

Did not, that's awesome!

... that's Traore! (Neanderthal), Thursday, 23 January 2020 23:40 (six years ago)

whole jota love

What Is and What Should Neves Be

Frozen Mug (Tom D.), Thursday, 23 January 2020 23:42 (six years ago)

Before Fosun bought the club local journos used to ask Plant on the regular if he wanted to buy in and his answer was always along the lines of "no I want to enjoy watching us"

the Swedish taboo (Noodle Vague), Thursday, 23 January 2020 23:43 (six years ago)

you mean i should sell my spurs shares

Catherine, Boner of JP Sweeney & Co (darraghmac), Thursday, 23 January 2020 23:43 (six years ago)

Not at the price there at now.

Frozen Mug (Tom D.), Thursday, 23 January 2020 23:48 (six years ago)

Good times, bad times

... that's Traore! (Neanderthal), Friday, 24 January 2020 00:25 (six years ago)

the wolves goal was so beautiful from chest pass to neck straining body twisting header

oscar bravo, Friday, 24 January 2020 06:48 (six years ago)

Wolves are a great team. Hope they finish fourth and go deep in the Europa.

I'm not sure their backline is the problem, probably just the depth over all? Need more players to slot into the system.

in twelve parts (lamonti), Friday, 24 January 2020 06:53 (six years ago)

despite all the late goals and the "finding a way"s that was the first game all season where I've felt like we got away with one

or something, Friday, 24 January 2020 09:38 (six years ago)

we really got away with that one and the game at Anfield against Wolves too

Saxophone Of Futility (Michael B), Friday, 24 January 2020 09:57 (six years ago)

Mooy - our only premiership standard player - has signed for Brighton apparently for a 2nd payment of £5m, the first was paid as a loan fee. Lol when he was in the world cup we were thinking his price at the going rate will be £25m now! And there might be a sizeable chunk of sell on clause to pay to Man City unless it's too low a price to qualify for one. Fuck him anyway, bald cunt!

calzino, Friday, 24 January 2020 15:21 (six years ago)

Oof. I remember the times you spoke highly of him!

Le Bateau Ivre, Friday, 24 January 2020 15:22 (six years ago)

he was probably the best player I've seen in the flesh in a Town shirt, but that says more about Town than Mooy!

calzino, Friday, 24 January 2020 15:25 (six years ago)

Fair! He was great for HTFC in the 17-18 season, dare say he kept them in the PL then.

Le Bateau Ivre, Friday, 24 January 2020 15:35 (six years ago)

When we we first signed him my step-dad said: "he's just the kind of driving midfield player we've lacked for donkey's years. I reckon he's even better than Jimmy Bullard"

calzino, Friday, 24 January 2020 15:37 (six years ago)

High praise indeed.

Frozen Mug (Tom D.), Friday, 24 January 2020 15:39 (six years ago)

Bruno Fernandes to Utd confirmed

probably not going to have much impact coming in at this stage of the season, but he's not Lingard or Pereira so it's a win for me

Number None, Wednesday, 29 January 2020 16:54 (six years ago)

i did not see that actually happening

unconvinced tbh but we shall see

(darraghpc) vs (darraghmac), Wednesday, 29 January 2020 17:33 (six years ago)

Yeah, touch of the Mkhitaryans about him

But honestly anything is an upgrade at this point

Number None, Wednesday, 29 January 2020 18:58 (six years ago)

Every big club signing seems like a punt tbh

GK Chessington's World of Adventure (Noodle Vague), Wednesday, 29 January 2020 21:23 (six years ago)

Nice to have Boly back.

And Podence sighted warming up!

... that's Traore! (Neanderthal), Saturday, 1 February 2020 18:21 (six years ago)

shite game, shite players, fucking shite manager

SHITE

Bruno at least knows where the goal is, unlike every other player in the squad

Number None, Saturday, 1 February 2020 19:24 (six years ago)

Missed this cos our Joel took me to the cinema, glad I missed it from looking at the text commentary.

GK Chessington's World of Adventure (Noodle Vague), Saturday, 1 February 2020 19:27 (six years ago)

Yeah you missed nothing. Drab second half from Wolves.

However, Podence looked quite good for a dude who arrived on Thursday. Even had a chance in the box that he couldn't quite get off

... that's Traore! (Neanderthal), Saturday, 1 February 2020 19:28 (six years ago)

I have no idea how Man U didn't score. Boly was def rusty

... that's Traore! (Neanderthal), Saturday, 1 February 2020 19:28 (six years ago)

I have no idea how Man U didn't score

see above

Number None, Saturday, 1 February 2020 19:30 (six years ago)

have never seen a goal that required so many catastrophic errors in unbroken sequence from so many individuals as that second west brom one

BSC Joan Baez (darraghmac), Saturday, 1 February 2020 23:01 (six years ago)

west brom don't belong in a premier thread just now

or something, Saturday, 1 February 2020 23:03 (six years ago)

It's impressive how VAR seems to continually find new ways of being unsatisfactory and pointless

GK Chessington's World of Adventure (Noodle Vague), Saturday, 1 February 2020 23:03 (six years ago)

both teams wearing black armbands in west ham Brighton game because graham potter's dad died seems a bit... I dunno, unprecedented?

or something, Saturday, 1 February 2020 23:07 (six years ago)

calzino, Saturday, 1 February 2020 23:10 (six years ago)

BSC Joan Baez (darraghmac), Saturday, 1 February 2020 23:11 (six years ago)

BSC Joan Baez (darraghmac), Saturday, 1 February 2020 23:33 (six years ago)

BSC Joan Baez (darraghmac), Sunday, 2 February 2020 18:02 (six years ago)

Could’ve used him today against Ajax, Stevie. Great goal.

Le Bateau Ivre, Sunday, 2 February 2020 18:03 (six years ago)

If this season does actually turn out to be a dream then it was a pretty fun one

or something, Sunday, 2 February 2020 18:15 (six years ago)

in fits, sure

BSC Joan Baez (darraghmac), Sunday, 2 February 2020 18:15 (six years ago)

BSC Joan Baez (darraghmac), Sunday, 2 February 2020 18:31 (six years ago)

😂😂😂😂😂

or something, Sunday, 2 February 2020 18:39 (six years ago)

having watched both spurs v man city games this season the fact that spurs have ended up with 4 pts from them is hilariously outrageous.

also will never not be bemused re villa game that keepers are allowed to punch attackers in the head and no penalty is ever given.
