bit cheeky United valuing Maddison at £20 million

Kebabs Windsor (Noodle Vague), Sunday, 5 January 2020 17:44 (six years ago)

Lemar is good imo but i don't think 'tricky attacking midfielder' is the most pressing way for Spurs to blow €60m.

ShariVari, Tuesday, 7 January 2020 12:09 (six years ago)

I read loan with an option to buy which might make sense but yeah hardly a priority position right now.

Guessing Lo Celso is going as well.

Matt DC, Tuesday, 7 January 2020 13:30 (six years ago)

Are they they not obliged to buy lo Celso?

ShariVari, Tuesday, 7 January 2020 13:33 (six years ago)

lol

if we finish top four lol

Banáná hÉireann (darraghmac), Tuesday, 7 January 2020 13:43 (six years ago)

id complete lo celso deal now fwiw, 32m fee if we do it now iirc

and id loan lemar with an option

we dont have any competition in that squad

Banáná hÉireann (darraghmac), Tuesday, 7 January 2020 13:44 (six years ago)

GLC has looked bright in places but he's the only player we have (other than Alderweireld) who's capable of playing incisive forward passes from deep, and one reason why we've been stop-start this season is because we're very awkward, slow and predictable in transitions. OK he hasn't always been accurate in those passes but that'll come with playing time I think.

Matt DC, Tuesday, 7 January 2020 14:10 (six years ago)

id agree

sissoko out tip april after knee surgery

Banáná hÉireann (darraghmac), Tuesday, 7 January 2020 17:51 (six years ago)

longshot but maybe this could get Ole the sack if it's in the six nil range

Banáná hÉireann (darraghmac), Tuesday, 7 January 2020 22:31 (six years ago)

Can still pull it back in the second leg, lads.

Frozen Mug (Tom D.), Tuesday, 7 January 2020 22:34 (six years ago)

Tyrone Mings as relentlessly up for it as ever. switch to 3 at the back is gonna suit him, frees him up to prowl about getting into it with whoever he likes. god how i love him.

Leicester gonna win this in his spite tho, obv

Windsor Davies, Wednesday, 8 January 2020 21:27 (six years ago)

Ashley Young has turned down #mufc's contract offer and wants to join Inter Milan during the current transfer window. He's told Solskjær he doesn't want to play for the club anymore. Inter are willing to pay a fee to sign him #mulive [di marzio]

Getting burned by Ashley Young. A new low!

Number None, Thursday, 9 January 2020 11:41 (six years ago)

Banáná hÉireann (darraghmac), Thursday, 9 January 2020 18:50 (six years ago)

Reports that Moyes is looking to sign Fellaini have brightened my evening

The Masked Zinger (Noodle Vague), Thursday, 9 January 2020 21:50 (six years ago)

Piatek to Spurs!

ShariVari, Thursday, 9 January 2020 23:09 (six years ago)

According to The Sun, so pinch of salt.

ShariVari, Thursday, 9 January 2020 23:11 (six years ago)

Krzysztof Piątek is a Polish professional footballer who plays as a forward for Premier league club Tottenham Hotspur and the Poland national team. He began his professional career with Ekstraklasa club Zagłębie Lubin...

Frozen Mug (Tom D.), Thursday, 9 January 2020 23:14 (six years ago)

It will be interesting if it comes off. He looked like he was going to be one of the most fearsome strikers in Europe in the period when he rapidly went from Cracovia to Genoa to Milan. His initial run of games with Milan was phenomenal - but he stopped scoring and hasn’t started again. It looks like they’re willing to just recoup the money they spent on him. Milan are so badly organised, it’s hard to know whether it’s an issue with him or with them. Kessie has been at equally disappointing.

ShariVari, Thursday, 9 January 2020 23:18 (six years ago)

Sad Cutrone wasn't feeling it but tbh I'd rather live in Florence than Wolverhampton so good luck to the lad

The Masked Zinger (Noodle Vague), Thursday, 9 January 2020 23:30 (six years ago)

Just the three goals ruled out by VAR in the five 3pm kick-offs today.

Tanganga is starting vs Liverpool, rather than Vertonghen.

ShariVari, Saturday, 11 January 2020 16:57 (six years ago)

5 defenders but no defensive player in midfield

Saxophone Of Futility (Michael B), Saturday, 11 January 2020 17:18 (six years ago)

five defenders?

lol, i think not.

Banáná hÉireann (darraghmac), Saturday, 11 January 2020 17:37 (six years ago)

ah, why would anyone ever be where they should be, doing what they should, when it matters.

one big fucking collection of shrugs, thats all this pack are

Banáná hÉireann (darraghmac), Saturday, 11 January 2020 18:17 (six years ago)

Superb clearance by lo celso

Arse is going here not gonna lie

or something, Saturday, 11 January 2020 19:12 (six years ago)

love to see so many flicks when we are a goal down at home

Banáná hÉireann (darraghmac), Saturday, 11 January 2020 19:25 (six years ago)

Just another 3 points obvs but nice to get that record against a Mourinho team

or something, Saturday, 11 January 2020 19:27 (six years ago)

Spurs really claiming that eighth place for themselves

Death to (NickB), Saturday, 11 January 2020 19:32 (six years ago)

Can't believe Lo Celso missed and that it wasn't the worse miss of the game.

in twelve parts (lamonti), Sunday, 12 January 2020 08:11 (six years ago)

Moura such a good player.

in twelve parts (lamonti), Sunday, 12 January 2020 08:11 (six years ago)

worst miss presumably VVD giving young gazza the chance to look heroic with an entire half of the goal to aim at

imago, Sunday, 12 January 2020 10:22 (six years ago)

Some really good furious home fan gesticulating as that Watford goal went in

Dadjokke (Sgt. Biscuits), Sunday, 12 January 2020 14:57 (six years ago)

This is a humiliation. I can’t see Howe turning this team around. Imagine spending £20m on Solanke.

ShariVari, Sunday, 12 January 2020 15:53 (six years ago)

Yeah they look done

Dadjokke (Sgt. Biscuits), Sunday, 12 January 2020 15:53 (six years ago)

i'm just praying for this "Nigel Pearson is good actually" nightmare to end soon

"Back Home" in Dari (Noodle Vague), Sunday, 12 January 2020 15:59 (six years ago)

fuck overrated Howe as well though and fucking FC Bosecombe - a non-league club pumped up with oligarch dosh and supported by millionaire Tory donors.

calzino, Sunday, 12 January 2020 16:03 (six years ago)

the correct and good opinion is to root for Watford tbh

imago, Sunday, 12 January 2020 16:13 (six years ago)

just can't get into MMA

"Back Home" in Dari (Noodle Vague), Sunday, 12 January 2020 16:16 (six years ago)

FYI I knew Bournemouth were done when they had 70 minutes at the ten men of Palace and managed to lose without creating a chance. I watched it all through my fingers and knew that was it for them

imago, Sunday, 12 January 2020 16:18 (six years ago)

Deeney is that last face you see before you wake up in hospital wearing a wire frame around your jaw for 3 months

calzino, Sunday, 12 January 2020 16:20 (six years ago)

it's not even so much that shitkickers are gonna kick, but a month of the usual pundits singing about the joys of putting a shift in, yeesh

"Back Home" in Dari (Noodle Vague), Sunday, 12 January 2020 16:25 (six years ago)

A few managerial jackets on shoogly nails after this weekend.

Frozen Mug (Tom D.), Sunday, 12 January 2020 17:07 (six years ago)

want to know where 'last-minute penalty when 6-0 down' fits in sgt biscuits' cosmology of worst goals to score

imago, Sunday, 12 January 2020 18:25 (six years ago)

It's crucial late goals like that which justify the four year deal they gave Dean Smith in November when he'd won like four games

Dadjokke (Sgt. Biscuits), Sunday, 12 January 2020 18:39 (six years ago)
