i dunno about hard to be a god being underrated (i think it's universally beloved?) but it was one of the more hallucinatory experiences i've ever had in a theater.

Alex Ross Perry picking Hard to be a God reminded me that I was thinking about it the other day - it’s really stayed with me in a way that would suggest I enjoyed it a lot more than I did. I only watched it once, I should give it another watch; I have it on dvd.

hate to be that (god) guy but i can't imagine it having near the same impact on a tv screen as it would in a theater? just too much visual information!
