as PP says, facebook have largely broken democracy through ongoing direct interference, propaganda, aggressive refusal to comply with laws, and - possibly to even larger effect - the intentional eradication of local and independent news publishing. ILX itself had to shift to crowdfunding from previously being supported by adverts served to lurkers. By posting trackers longer than the url, you're wasting the time of the people you're asking to read your posts, and also attempting to turn everyone itt and ILX itself into a harvesting operation that facebook will sell, explicitly against our own interests.

It's fine for anyone to not give a shit about any of this, it's really weird for them to want people to engage in a conversation if they state that they don't give a shit about the people whom they're attempting to engage in conversation

Why should I? Obviously I know she is a fairly well known musician, but I don't own any of her albums nor have I seen any of her music videos (if she has any?), and I've mostly come across her name in music-related books and ILM discussions where there's no photos to show what she looks like.
