If there's more to be gained from watching the interview than watching the him unconvincingly deny Virginia Giuffre's testimony it hasn't felt that way from the coverage (either on Twitter or from the media reports I've seen)

There's nothing weird about the Mr. Rogers revival, really, imo. It's an attempt at course correction, people seeking a sane and centered alternative to the extremes gnawing at the edges of our everyday.

Judging by social media, I care far less about viral videos of humans risking their lives to save animals than many of my friends. In fact, I guess I do care insofar as I find this idiotic behavior rather than heart-warming.

The whole 'animals are innocent little angels whilst humans are monstrous devourers of nature' trend needs to die.

Its consequences will be eternal, yes.

Yeah, I can understand feeling hopeless or fatigued but I find it hard to not care about a crucial election in a world power and one of our closest allies.
