what is shadier than the death is that "sweetheart" deal he got in 08, when he was basically allowed to go home from prison during the day and molest people. and the prosecutor (acosta) said he was told "epstein belongs to intelligence."

it seems absurd we won't get to the bottom of this, when there is so much public awareness

huh, somehow i missed that -- and this came out even before his death. i don't even know what to make of that.

i don't think it's absurd to speculate he was running a blackmail ring. and that "intelligence" caught wind of it and used it for their purposes--leaning on powerful people they needed favors for.

there isn't really a good explanation for why people started letting him manage their money in the first place. he started his fund with the provision that investors needed to put up, at minimum, a billion dollars--this is when he was relatively unknown. and he found investors.

its seems completely reasonable given the known facts of the case

tho i doubt ppl were actual giving him a billion at a time
