I think that Chait article nicely summarizes the basic factual narrative that, if anything can, will put the noose around Trump's neck and take down large numbers of the flunkies he has surrounded himself with. It does not read like a diatribe, but more like the opening statement of a prosecutor, detailing the crime they are about to prove to the jury.

This line of attack is so pathetic and misleading it's honestly quite okay with me. I googled to find out what Trump was talking about, fearing that Schiff had been somewhat careless, but he just made a stupid joke, which anyone with half a brain should be able to tell was a joke, so it's kinda useful as a way to figure out who has half a brain.
