gazpacho with plenty of coombesin (sarahell), Friday, 27 September 2019 20:01 (six years ago)

Nothing of note gyac, just feeling as lost and empty as ever and struggling not to drink cos it's one of the few things that doesn't make me feel lost and empty...while I'm drinking

But this community is a big and treasured part of my life and when I'm here all alone it makes me less alone

Dominc Coombesings (Noodle Vague), Friday, 27 September 2019 20:07 (six years ago)

I legit made the case to someone today that I felt better about being unhappy at work & other people telling me the same because I knew I wasn’t the only one in that situation and so felt less alone, so I get you.

gyac, Friday, 27 September 2019 20:09 (six years ago)

love u nv, stay strong buddy

Is it true the star Beetle Juice is going to explode in 2012 (bizarro gazzara), Friday, 27 September 2019 20:11 (six years ago)

gazpacho with plenty of coombesin (sarahell), Friday, 27 September 2019 20:12 (six years ago)

I am seriously going to have a go at that but right now I can't even be bothered to walk five yards to the kitchen and heat soup

Dominc Coombesings (Noodle Vague), Friday, 27 September 2019 20:15 (six years ago)

I think I need to reread "Great Expectations" as prep

Dominc Coombesings (Noodle Vague), Friday, 27 September 2019 20:17 (six years ago)

"In Supergrass we kept our political view for the pub table" is an obvious opening line

Dominc Coombesings (Noodle Vague), Friday, 27 September 2019 20:18 (six years ago)

You could write a whole chapter on this

On 7 March 2008, Goffey accompanied politician Boris Johnson in a bid to try to save the post office near where he had grown up in Forest Hill, at Stanton St. John, Oxfordshire. Goffey commented; "I used to buy sweets and cigarettes there and I want my family to be able to continue that tradition."

gyac, Friday, 27 September 2019 20:24 (six years ago)

gazpacho with plenty of coombesin (sarahell), Friday, 27 September 2019 20:34 (six years ago)

I warmed the soup. Villarreal-Betis turned into a delightful battering.

Dominc Coombesings (Noodle Vague), Friday, 27 September 2019 20:51 (six years ago)

now i want some battered soup

Is it true the star Beetle Juice is going to explode in 2012 (bizarro gazzara), Friday, 27 September 2019 20:55 (six years ago)

Dominc Coombesings (Noodle Vague), Friday, 27 September 2019 21:01 (six years ago)

Anyone who finds using a bowl and spoon too much of a chore when eating their favourite soup will be delighted to learn that soup is now available as a finger food - but comes with an unhealthy twist.

Chip shop boss John Clarkson, 57, has created a pattie-type dish by deep frying farmhouse vegetable soup - and called it the 'soup-er burger.'

John, from Preston, Lancashire, was inspired to create the dish after a cheeky customer picked up on John's penchant for frying and commented: 'You'll be deep-frying soup next!'

But rather than laugh the comment off, John, who has previously deep-fried a giant Ferrero Rocher and a milkshake, picked up the gauntlet and set about working in his chip shop-cum-gastronomical laboratory to find a way of battering and deep-frying soup.

He eventually cracked the problem by cooking up his favourite vegetable soup before adding a touch of cornflour and egg and allowing the mixture to set in a circular mould.

what the fuck, preston isn’t in scotland

gyac, Friday, 27 September 2019 21:10 (six years ago)

Dominc Coombesings (Noodle Vague), Friday, 27 September 2019 21:10 (six years ago)

They're not all that tbh

Dominc Coombesings (Noodle Vague), Friday, 27 September 2019 21:11 (six years ago)

God I could eat one now tho

Dominc Coombesings (Noodle Vague), Friday, 27 September 2019 21:11 (six years ago)

We went to Glasgow 4 years ago for the weekend and we forgot to eat a deep fried mars bar. We were intending to. I did have haggis, which was pretty similar to faggots so I liked it (I am a midlander after all) and square sausage which was A+ would eat in every fried breakfast

Colonel Poo, Friday, 27 September 2019 21:19 (six years ago)

square sausage rules

coup de twat (suzy), Friday, 27 September 2019 21:53 (six years ago)

the joy of parenthood is that every now and then you get to be phoned by your daughter and your ex both at once while they're in the middle of a screaming row with each other and then you get to feel like a feeb because you can't talk anybody down from the other end of a phone

thank fuck i'm not drinking today

Dominc Coombesings (Noodle Vague), Saturday, 28 September 2019 12:04 (six years ago)

also not gonna start a sublimated rage war with John McTernan on Twitter

Dominc Coombesings (Noodle Vague), Saturday, 28 September 2019 12:07 (six years ago)

xp I wouldn’t feel bad about that, you are sometimes best just to let them have at it. Speaking as someone from one of the world’s most argumentative families like.

gyac, Saturday, 28 September 2019 12:29 (six years ago)

wish i could drink myself to death like a slow liquidation, evaporation, gentle and sweet and pretty instead of the reality of terror and convulsions and bodily fluids and ah fuck, the mess, the mess

Goose Witherspeen (Noodle Vague), Friday, 4 October 2019 08:33 (six years ago)

Goose Witherspeen (Noodle Vague), Friday, 4 October 2019 10:18 (six years ago)

Have you got the game NV? I was thinking of getting it this weekend

gyac, Friday, 4 October 2019 11:36 (six years ago)

the horrible goose is the cultural highlight of 2019 imo

Is it true the star Beetle Juice is going to explode in 2012 (bizarro gazzara), Friday, 4 October 2019 11:40 (six years ago)

Yeah I got it when it came out. Tbh it's a very fits and starts thing for me - usually an hour on it is more than enough for a bit but it is funny and HONK and also pretty satisfying when you work out the more abstruse puzzles

Whisper it but the memes are more fun than the game tho but you've got to admire something that's moved me on from ducks 🦆

Goose Witherspeen (Noodle Vague), Friday, 4 October 2019 11:41 (six years ago)

Actually the Lizzo/horrible goose crossover has been the highlight of my year

Goose Witherspeen (Noodle Vague), Friday, 4 October 2019 11:45 (six years ago)

I need éclairs and a euromillions ticket more than vino having mulled it over for a bit but still getting dressed for outside, too hard

Goose Witherspeen (Noodle Vague), Friday, 4 October 2019 11:46 (six years ago)

cadburys eclairs or fresh cream eclairs? v important distinction

Is it true the star Beetle Juice is going to explode in 2012 (bizarro gazzara), Friday, 4 October 2019 11:48 (six years ago)

Fresh cream ones. And Refreshers. And crisps. And soup or something. And lauda um. And a hookah-smoking caterpillar. And ice cream. And Persona 5 The Royal like now the waiting is agony.

Goose Witherspeen (Noodle Vague), Friday, 4 October 2019 11:54 (six years ago)
