Ok I kinda hope people keep talking about this now

The Failing New York Times stated, in an article written by Obama flunky Peter Baker (who lovingly wrote Obama book),”Even after the President forecast the storm to include Alabama.” THIS IS NOT TRUE. I said, VERY EARLY ON, that it MAY EVEN hit Alabama. A BIG DIFFERENCE.....

did anyone have "trump invites the taliban to the US for the anniversary of 9/11" on their bingo sheet

Unbeknownst to almost everyone, the major Taliban leaders and, separately, the President of Afghanistan, were going to secretly meet with me at Camp David on Sunday. They were coming to the United States tonight. Unfortunately, in order to build false leverage, they admitted to..

Nobody wants to say this but the United States should've been negotiating with the Taliban a long, long time ago. I mean in 2002 or 2003.

Dan S, Sunday, 8 September 2019 03:37 (six years ago)

I agree that the tweets are nuts but also a lot of ppl seem to think the basic concept of talking to the Taliban is insane on its face

While @BarackObama is slashing the military, he is also negotiating with our sworn enemy the Taliban--who facilitated 9/11.

House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jerry Nadler has released a resolution outlining the parameters for an impeachment investigation into President Trump, heating up talk of impeachment on Congress’ first day back from its summer recess.

Nadler on Monday released a resolution, which his committee is expected to vote on Thursday, laying out the rules for any impeachment hearings. The rules outline basic structures, such as how a witness should be called or how the chairman can designate a full committee or subcommittee hearing.

On the other end of Pennsylvania Avenue, Democrats’ proceedings are being met with a collective shrug. One senior administration official says the proposed language falls short of what would be needed to compel additional cooperation from the White House on oversight requests.

FUCK YOUR POTATO (Neanderthal), Monday, 9 September 2019 20:22 (six years ago)

A stupid mistake by the Prez now progresses to Commerce Secretary demanding government appointed officials to lie, or be fired if they don't.

FUCK YOUR POTATO (Neanderthal), Monday, 9 September 2019 20:23 (six years ago)

imagine losing your job (or being threatened with it) over one of the dumbest political scandals of all time

I am also Harl (Karl Malone), Monday, 9 September 2019 20:24 (six years ago)

of course, the people he threatened to fire were politically appointed by the trump administration, so they were probably awful anyway. so maybe i don't feel bad for them choosing to lie instead of being fired (imo it would be an honor to be fired by trump for telling the truth, but i also have nihilistic tendencies)

Can't wait til Wilbur Ross is punished with a promotion and a bigger desk

FUCK YOUR POTATO (Neanderthal), Monday, 9 September 2019 20:30 (six years ago)

bright side scenario: Trump refuses to admit he ever told Ross to threaten to fire anyone if they didn't lie for him, and chooses to fire Ross instead

I am also Harl (Karl Malone), Monday, 9 September 2019 20:45 (six years ago)

remember, all of this happened because of a tweet and a sharpie

I am also Harl (Karl Malone), Monday, 9 September 2019 20:46 (six years ago)

but this holiday season, one tweet, and one sharpie, are on an adventure of a lifetime, that some people are saying has never been seen before, and it's the dumbest fucking thing you have ever heard of

WASHINGTON — President Trump declared that peace talks with the Taliban were “dead, as far as I’m concerned,” saying he called off a meeting at Camp David after the militant group in Afghanistan killed 12 people, including one American soldier.

Speaking to reporters on Monday as he left for a political rally in North Carolina, Mr. Trump said he did not intend to try to revive efforts to reach a peace accord with the Taliban that could accelerate the removal of American troops from the country.

“They are dead — they are dead. As far as I’m concerned they are dead,” Mr. Trump said of peace talks, accusing the group of the attack that killed an American soldier from Puerto Rico. “You can’t do that. You can’t do that with me. So they are dead as far as I’m concerned.”

i mentioned this a long time ago, i think, but i often wonder how things like this are translated and understood across the world. or, forget translation, how are they understood by someone who doesn't realize that "dead" here means that a project is canceled. because if you don't know that, it sounds like he is just saying that the taliban are all going to die, because you can't do that to trump. so they are going to die. oh well, doot dee doo

haven't really followed the polls lately but I assume they're....not good

One of the greatest and most powerful weapons used by the Fake and Corrupt News Media is the phony Polling Information they put out. Many of these polls are fixed, or worked in such a way that a certain candidate will look good or bad. Internal polling looks great, the best ever!
