Q: has the meaning of 'trolling' changed?

A: Not that I am aware of, although misuse of the word has increased since it was coined. This is only because internet use has increased by at least three orders of magnitude since the mid-1990s, so that the potential for misuse has increased proportionately.

Thank you all for coming today, particular thanks to those of you who have dialled in.

Somebody once said "look on my works, ye mighty, and despair".

Well I, too, have looked upon my works, and despaired.

I would like for you all to be the first to know that I am stepping aside from my position with immediate effect.

Hey John,

When Bill gets back can you let him know there is an email chain with hundreds of recipients titled "RE: Bill's Wife"? I'm trying to get off of the list but people keep on replying all. I keep on emailing his wife on their honeymoon to try to get a hold of Bill, but I think she may have blocked me after the last time this happened.

The toilets are overflowing on 2. I warned management this would happen but they said they had a maintenance guy and it looked fine.

Also who do i give the dry cleaning bill as this caused damage to my outfit.

Can I get a timeline on a) when you’re predicted the toilet disaster vs b) when the toilet disaster occurred. If the two time stamps are within 10 minutes of each other, then you can flush your career....down the toilet. Because of all the poop. Yeow!!!

See above for the mail discussed earlier. Name, timestamp and intent to mock/undermine all clear.

As noted previously, I've had difficulties with this person forwarding me unwanted reports and timesheets for some time now and I feel, though admittedly I'm not an expert, that he may be "trolling" me through the use of the company's telecommunications infrastructure.

I trust that you will take this ongoing issue appropriately seriously.

Apologies again about blocking the toilets. I can confirm that I now understand that they are not the proper disposal mechanism for unwanted timesheets and the issue won't arise again.
