dmac, it's trolling because Mark G and marcos are saying how they hate film threads because people always say bad things about films they like, then sarahell calls the single example they give a "piece of shit" with no further comment. It's funny and it's a bit mean and you cannot tell if it's serious or not, this is what trolling is like, obv explaining it to death does not make it more funny, but anyway

A: Not that I am aware of, although misuse of the word has increased since it was coined. This is only because internet use has increased by at least three orders of magnitude since the mid-1990s, so that the potential for misuse has increased proportionately.
