pretty funny that his shtick is starting tweets with “well, then do you concede that..” followed by more irrelevant junk

what is this trend of guilt-tripping people into donating money to their cashapp/venmo accounts? i'm seeing this more and more, usually in the context of social justice issues but it's kind of annoying tbh

Whenever I follow a link from ILX to a political tweet and do a bit of scrolling down into the replies, I get the definite impression that Twitter is still rife with bots and Russian trolls.

i've long suspected that there's a group of people in a discord somewhere writing up all those r/relationship posts that are on the edge of believability

i finally got forced onto the new desktop layout and it just doesn't function at all, my login cookie doesn't log me in half the time i click a link to a tweet from an external site, and a bunch of former QoL features are missing or obscured like the 'translate this tweet' requires an additional click to make appear now and sometimes just doesn't appear at all

it's clearly just a half-assed port of the mobile UI

agreed it is very bad

mobile site never remembers my login when i access it via zing

i'm ok with it

you can't even scroll with the spacebar or pgdn in new desktop, what an insanely untested UI

This talking point is stupid for 2 reasons

1) “ersatz pundits” implies the bias filters for cable news pundits is somehow more legitimate & reflective of the general pop

i like tha new site its faster and not displaying follower stats on the homepage is nice, also they did away w the individual tweet page overlaying the tweeters timeline which was subject to misclicks

it still bugs out and needs to be refreshed like 30% of the time i open it, thats not very fast
