is Ellaria Sand still in that dungeon being kept alive? serious question.

omar little, Thursday, 25 April 2019 16:59 (seven years ago)

because i mean if anyone would really want to kill Cersei maybe more than anyone...

omar little, Thursday, 25 April 2019 16:59 (seven years ago)

bring back Dorne, is all I'm saying. Show us some sand snakes we haven't met yet.

omar little, Thursday, 25 April 2019 17:00 (seven years ago)

priests of the LoL

No kidding.

nashwan, Thursday, 25 April 2019 21:55 (seven years ago)

There are a bunch of dragon skeletons at King’s Landing too.

Madchen, Friday, 26 April 2019 06:01 (seven years ago)

ooo thats a good point.

Stoop Crone (Trayce), Friday, 26 April 2019 06:49 (seven years ago)

That'd be some deep foreshadowing if that's what's going to go down.

chap, Friday, 26 April 2019 08:31 (seven years ago)

In other words, that would have been one of the things GRRM told them was part of the ending...

Frederik B, Friday, 26 April 2019 10:37 (seven years ago)

I'm convinced that will happen now.

chap, Friday, 26 April 2019 10:40 (seven years ago)

King's Landing dragons were tiny iirc

Vernon Locke, Friday, 26 April 2019 12:56 (seven years ago)

The dragons got smaller and smaller over the decades, until the last dragon was the size of a cat when it died. But it wasn't just that House Targaryen had stunted the growth of the world's greatest weapon. The Dragonpit was also where many dragons were killed by an angry mob during an infamous event known as the Storming of the Dragonpit.

We were never Breeting Borting (President Keyes), Friday, 26 April 2019 13:13 (seven years ago)

They have a bunch of big dragon skulls under the palace (or is it the Red Keep?) as we saw a few times (and as is referred to even in the redesignef title sequence which may be a big hint too) but reanimating decapitated dragons might not be that useful. Any intact ones even cat sized yes of course.

nashwan, Friday, 26 April 2019 13:40 (seven years ago)

would you rather fight one disembodied zombie dragon head or a dozen cat-sized zombie dragons

mh, Friday, 26 April 2019 14:31 (seven years ago)

Definitely one disembodied head

these are not all of the possible side effects (Karl Malone), Friday, 26 April 2019 15:50 (seven years ago)

I wouldn’t want to fight 12 normal cats, let alone dragon cats. A disembodied head, I will take that on regardless of species

these are not all of the possible side effects (Karl Malone), Friday, 26 April 2019 15:50 (seven years ago)

What if it can levitate and breathe fire

valet doberman (Jon not Jon), Friday, 26 April 2019 16:12 (seven years ago)

It's just a skull so can only bite.

nashwan, Friday, 26 April 2019 16:13 (seven years ago)

Jon's following my line of thinking here. Levitating large skull could maybe blast more fire

mh, Friday, 26 April 2019 16:36 (seven years ago)

presumably we'll get dead Ned wearing an appropriately sized dragon head, also Robb zombie with direwolf head

mick signals, Friday, 26 April 2019 16:44 (seven years ago)

more human than direwolf tho

sarahell, Friday, 26 April 2019 17:06 (seven years ago)

Robb Zombie with direwolf head ftw.

ep5 bloodmoon means full cast do-over

Fuck the NRA (ulysses), Monday, 29 April 2019 00:05 (seven years ago)

is Bronn going to show up before the battle?

mh, Monday, 29 April 2019 00:26 (seven years ago)

Be pretty funny if this ep is another fakeout and no battle happens lol

Stoop Crone (Trayce), Monday, 29 April 2019 01:29 (seven years ago)

lmao

Simon H., Monday, 29 April 2019 02:26 (seven years ago)

let me be the first to say: the Night King *is* stupid

Simon H., Monday, 29 April 2019 02:26 (seven years ago)

my first thought was “Night King is a chump” so.. yeah

mh, Monday, 29 April 2019 02:32 (seven years ago)

I’m kinda pissed that this dumb show blew its wad so early. Three episodes left of squabbling over a chair I guess.

Conceptualize Wyverns (latebloomer), Monday, 29 April 2019 03:02 (seven years ago)

kinda didn't understand why dany and jon were just flying around doing nothing for a while?

sarahell, Monday, 29 April 2019 03:05 (seven years ago)

No idea. They were having trouble seeing everything like the rest of us?

Conceptualize Wyverns (latebloomer), Monday, 29 April 2019 03:06 (seven years ago)

Almost everyone survived

these are not all of the possible side effects (Karl Malone), Monday, 29 April 2019 03:08 (seven years ago)

was gonna say, was it just me or was it super dark and I couldn't tell who died and who didn't -- apart from the super obvious ones

sarahell, Monday, 29 April 2019 03:10 (seven years ago)

I don’t think the manichean zombie battle counts as “blew its wad” - this show has hardly ever been about its exotics. Now we can go back to scenes set during the daytime and having more than one thing to talk about

El Tomboto, Monday, 29 April 2019 03:20 (seven years ago)

Killing gilly but not qween of dwagons is a bummer

i believe that (s)he is sincere (forksclovetofu), Monday, 29 April 2019 03:28 (seven years ago)

let me be the first to say: the Night King *is* stupid

otm

In hindsight, the critical problem with the “the night king is not stupid” theory was that the night king is stupid

these are not all of the possible side effects (Karl Malone), Monday, 29 April 2019 03:29 (seven years ago)

Weird frame rate stuff with the dragon riding and occasional zombie attacks, probably woulda looked better on a ps pro

i believe that (s)he is sincere (forksclovetofu), Monday, 29 April 2019 03:33 (seven years ago)

am i maybe wrong that gilly gets got in the crypt?

i believe that (s)he is sincere (forksclovetofu), Monday, 29 April 2019 03:34 (seven years ago)

You are maybe wrong. They were extra deliberate about showing when speaking roles got killed, as usual. I think they want us to be worried about her.

El Tomboto, Monday, 29 April 2019 03:37 (seven years ago)

Hooray three more episodes of Cersei sipping wine while Euron leers over her shoulder. >:(

If you build up an ancient supernatural threat over the course of a show you have to save that for last, or next to last, unless you have something better up your sleeve. The very first episode back in Season 1 opened with a white walker horror sequence, after all.
