That's hideous, I love it.
― Perfect Leee Cromulent (Leee), Wednesday, 24 April 2019 20:43 (seven years ago)
yeah that is amazing
― thomasintrouble, Wednesday, 24 April 2019 21:38 (seven years ago)
It just struck me that NK would know that King's Landing existed because they brought a living fucking white walker there.
― unashamed and trash (Unctious), Thursday, 25 April 2019 00:01 (seven years ago)
hmm that does appear to be a plot device that blows a hole in things!
― mh, Thursday, 25 April 2019 03:31 (seven years ago)
It’s occurred to me that with all that dragonglass hanging around Winterfell there’s the potential for them to Do A Benjen on any character who is Got and save them from becoming a total zombie.
― Madchen, Thursday, 25 April 2019 07:20 (seven years ago)
I guess I don't really understand how uncle Benjen came to be
― the public eating of beans (Sparkle Motion), Thursday, 25 April 2019 13:12 (seven years ago)
the children of the forest shoved some dragonstone in his chest to stop him turning evil so now he's just undead. Not sure why no-one has come up with dragonstone implants for the human army yet but maybe that's to come.
― thomasintrouble, Thursday, 25 April 2019 13:18 (seven years ago)
sorry I mean dragonglass not dragonstone
― thomasintrouble, Thursday, 25 April 2019 13:19 (seven years ago)
A child of the forest, within 3 and a half seconds of meeting a human: “The First Men called us ‘the Children’, but we were born long before them”Everyone else: “whoa we literally just met”
― these are not all of the possible side effects (Karl Malone), Thursday, 25 April 2019 13:28 (seven years ago)
I assumed the whole Benjen thing was a "children of the forest can do real magic" thing where they can do things the humans can't
Then again, Cersei's mad scientist maester guy made the Mountain into whatever the hell he is now, so maybe they don't have an exclusive claim.
― mh, Thursday, 25 April 2019 13:55 (seven years ago)
yep there's what, 5 different ways of being brought back from the dead now? white walker, children of the forest, whatever Paul Kaye did, melisandre's method, maester qyburn's technique?
― thomasintrouble, Thursday, 25 April 2019 15:08 (seven years ago)
the mountain was not quite dead iirc
― mh, Thursday, 25 April 2019 15:08 (seven years ago)
The one thing (aside from Cersei dying) that is absolutely 100% guaranteed to happen is that Yara will turn up with the Iron Fleet right in the nick of time.
― Matt DC, Thursday, 25 April 2019 15:56 (seven years ago)
Thoros and Melisandre did the same thing i.e. be priests of the LoL and pray a lot
― I want to change my display name (dan m), Thursday, 25 April 2019 15:58 (seven years ago)
nit picky but I think the mountain was going to die since oberyn's weapon had poison on it.
― officer sonny bonds, lytton pd (mayor jingleberries), Thursday, 25 April 2019 16:48 (seven years ago)
right. not quite dead yet
― Evan, Thursday, 25 April 2019 16:56 (seven years ago)
is Ellaria Sand still in that dungeon being kept alive? serious question.
― omar little, Thursday, 25 April 2019 16:59 (seven years ago)
because i mean if anyone would really want to kill Cersei maybe more than anyone...
bring back Dorne, is all I'm saying. Show us some sand snakes we haven't met yet.
― omar little, Thursday, 25 April 2019 17:00 (seven years ago)
priests of the LoL
No kidding.

There are a bunch of dragon skeletons at King’s Landing too.
― Madchen, Friday, 26 April 2019 06:01 (seven years ago)
ooo thats a good point.
― Stoop Crone (Trayce), Friday, 26 April 2019 06:49 (seven years ago)
That'd be some deep foreshadowing if that's what's going to go down.
― chap, Friday, 26 April 2019 08:31 (seven years ago)
In other words, that would have been one of the things GRRM told them was part of the ending...
― Frederik B, Friday, 26 April 2019 10:37 (seven years ago)
I'm convinced that will happen now.
― chap, Friday, 26 April 2019 10:40 (seven years ago)
King's Landing dragons were tiny iirc

The dragons got smaller and smaller over the decades, until the last dragon was the size of a cat when it died. But it wasn't just that House Targaryen had stunted the growth of the world's greatest weapon. The Dragonpit was also where many dragons were killed by an angry mob during an infamous event known as the Storming of the Dragonpit.
― We were never Breeting Borting (President Keyes), Friday, 26 April 2019 13:13 (seven years ago)
They have a bunch of big dragon skulls under the palace (or is it the Red Keep?) as we saw a few times (and as is referred to even in the redesignef title sequence which may be a big hint too) but reanimating decapitated dragons might not be that useful. Any intact ones even cat sized yes of course.
― nashwan, Friday, 26 April 2019 13:40 (seven years ago)
would you rather fight one disembodied zombie dragon head or a dozen cat-sized zombie dragons
― mh, Friday, 26 April 2019 14:31 (seven years ago)
Definitely one disembodied head
― these are not all of the possible side effects (Karl Malone), Friday, 26 April 2019 15:50 (seven years ago)
I wouldn’t want to fight 12 normal cats, let alone dragon cats. A disembodied head, I will take that on regardless of species
What if it can levitate and breathe fire
― valet doberman (Jon not Jon), Friday, 26 April 2019 16:12 (seven years ago)
It's just a skull so can only bite.
― nashwan, Friday, 26 April 2019 16:13 (seven years ago)
Jon's following my line of thinking here. Levitating large skull could maybe blast more fire
― mh, Friday, 26 April 2019 16:36 (seven years ago)
presumably we'll get dead Ned wearing an appropriately sized dragon head, also Robb zombie with direwolf head
― mick signals, Friday, 26 April 2019 16:44 (seven years ago)
more human than direwolf tho
― sarahell, Friday, 26 April 2019 17:06 (seven years ago)
Robb Zombie with direwolf head ftw.
