It’s occurred to me that with all that dragonglass hanging around Winterfell there’s the potential for them to Do A Benjen on any character who is Got and save them from becoming a total zombie.

I guess I don't really understand how uncle Benjen came to be

the children of the forest shoved some dragonstone in his chest to stop him turning evil so now he's just undead. Not sure why no-one has come up with dragonstone implants for the human army yet but maybe that's to come.

I assumed the whole Benjen thing was a "children of the forest can do real magic" thing where they can do things the humans can't

The one thing (aside from Cersei dying) that is absolutely 100% guaranteed to happen is that Yara will turn up with the Iron Fleet right in the nick of time.

The dragons got smaller and smaller over the decades, until the last dragon was the size of a cat when it died. But it wasn't just that House Targaryen had stunted the growth of the world's greatest weapon. The Dragonpit was also where many dragons were killed by an angry mob during an infamous event known as the Storming of the Dragonpit.

They have a bunch of big dragon skulls under the palace (or is it the Red Keep?) as we saw a few times (and as is referred to even in the redesignef title sequence which may be a big hint too) but reanimating decapitated dragons might not be that useful. Any intact ones even cat sized yes of course.
