i bet that this game is a ton of fun if you can find other ppl to play w/ at a similar skill level to your own but the way i play it (w/ my kids) it's mostly just frustrating

I voted for Overcooked. I love how rage-inducing it is when you suck, and how great it feels to perform well as a team ... if you git good.

it turns out the secret to making a fun open world game is the player is supposed to be a vehicle, not a human. i should fire this up again at some point, i never really exhausted it

ppl love battletech esp those nerds at three moves ahead but i haven't gotten to it yet

how "gamey" is forza horizon 4? i used to love racing games when they were like super off road and daytona but the genre feels like it heavily went in a realistic GT direction which doesn't appeal to me at all.

forza motorsport is the realistic GT forza series, the horizon games are open world arcade racers, they're a lot more gamey and fun

I found out about System Syzygy from andrew plotkin's blog (he created system's twilight and also he was the guy who turned mafia into werewolf).

I threw Detroit a vote but definitely don’t recommend it unless “Quick Time Event: The Game” sounds up your alley or you’re a Clancy Brown superfan. Humorless, self-important, cliche, very clownable! AND YET the gimmick of pressing a series of buttons to make characters do boring things like set the table or gather wood eventually made me care about them more? It’s like, I tucked in this orphan girl and told her a bedtime story you’re damn right I’ll murder every human between her and the android haven of Canada.
