I used to do this with Bohemian Rhapsody, and bob my head to the "Galileo Galileo" bit

The songs that go through my head tend to be the instrumental versions of jazz numbers. One favorite is Wes Montgomery's recording of Sonny Rollins' "Airegin" from "The Incredible Jazz Guitar of Wes Montgomery."

So, if I type what's in my head it comes out more like.

Typing out shit like that? That's what I call senselessly frittering!

dude in the afternoon the sun comes in the windows and renders the a/c completely ineffective and it's pissing me off.

That bus took 2.5 hours to travel 30 miles last week.

Test driving used cars and a pool party which is likely to be thunderstormed out.

it's been normal and average around these parts. but we're going to memphis next weekend.

I had my second driving lesson which was more dreadful than my first one which was on tuesday. I HAD TO SHIFT GEARS I FREAKAH THE EF OUT. I of course fucked up about 54867867 times until I realize I really had to wait until the VERY end to let go of the pedal before we had "lift off". Ah well. I hope I will be okay... I still feel kinda dumb and doubt I'll ever pass the exam but I have more confidence than when I was 18. Then I KNEW I was too dumb to drive a car. Now I am delusional and think I have a shot. heh

I think with manual transmission cars, the goal is to make sure that
(a) there is power going to the wheels at all times
or
(b) you are out of gear

The longer you have the clutch engaged, the worse you are driving. Seriously.

Damnit, I want to go home, but I find the stuff I just got assigned REALLY interesting.

One more hour, so quiet this week. It has given me the time to contemplate the existence or otherwise of the cactus farry.

I came in at 1 today and it still feels like the longest afternoon ever.
