I mean whatever, it doesn't suck, there's just nothing compelling about this raft of movies. I can't stand Daisy Ridley's one-note acting. I can't stand JJ Abrams obsession with long shots of people breathing heavily. I can't stand the fan service stuff. This looks like an entertaining movie but not a good movie.

looks like shit, bad title. I know people shit on the last one a lot because of the wonky plot but at least it had some visual flair.

yes I think what she brings to the role (and what Driver is able to do with his as well) are what make the new series worth seeing.

I guess it’s hard for me to tell how much of the weak characterization is her and how much is the writing or directing. But it’s definitely one note.

I've accepted that all I really need out of these movies is to hear the classic foley fx on cinema speakers.

Johnson's movie takes place in about two days of movie time and seemed to wrap up everything it was telling - not knowing the previous movie maybe meant I missed lots of "surprising" stuff, but what did you think could have been followed through upon?
