I heard a very core bland resistance-style discussion on kushner, so hmm i doubt uncited sourcing, but i dunno he seems v v v bad not good.

Who has done reliable work on kushner, sauds, qatar and netanyahu? because the allegations were super involved, and seemed way unlikely given what i take for trust levels in that ME space. like actual trump shit, it seems impossible to get away with.

Enjoyed teh Trumpcast on Kushner taht I listened to this afternoon. Came out over the last couple of days i think.
ties in with the book Kushner inc which i'll probably now discover means it isn't worth it .
But interview sounded good at the time. & Kushner sounds like a total scumbag who should have never been allowed anywhere near the Whitehouse. & Ivanka sonds like they're a finely matched couple.

Kirstjen Nielsen quits.

Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen submitted her resignation to President Donald Trump Sunday night, in an unexpected move that appears related to the president’s ongoing rage over the number of Central American families and asylum-seekers coming into the United States.

Kevin McAleenan, the head of Customs and Border Protection, will serve as acting DHS secretary. It’s not yet clear whether Trump will formally nominate a successor to Nielsen in the near future.

Nielsen, the sixth head of the Department of Homeland Security and Trump’s second appointee (she was confirmed in December 2017 after mentor John Kelly left to become White House chief of staff), has arguably been the most aggressive secretary in the department’s short history in cracking down on immigration — with her legacy likely to be defined among progressives by the “zero tolerance” prosecution policy of late spring and early summer 2018 that resulted in the separation of thousands of families at the US/Mexico border.

None of it appears to have been enough for Donald Trump.

Was reading in Washington Post that 45 said he relies on Stephen Miller for all immigration matters. Miller was reportedly unhappy with Nielsen and the Ice Director nominee.

Seems like whoever it is that runs against him in 2020 needs to focus some of their campaign reaching out past Trump and putting advisors/appointees like Miller/DeVos/Bolton on blast.
