Especially because the budding success of the new fluorescents is almost completely market-driven.
YOU HAVE NO POINT, DUCK, EVEN WHEN YOU MAKE IT UP.

Um, bipedal cats with disproportionately long left legs in the higher echelons of the clergy are psychic, and see into the dark, fetus-eating mind of His Holliness?

Accurate foods were too hard to spell.
And the target audience would surely misinterpret "Pita".
And everyone knows a felafel is a sponge used in erotic bathing.

Oh man, white kid sonned in anthropomorphic cartoon cat anatomy beef.
My Batshit Leftwing Grandma is gonna disown me.

Dan L, shouldn't Monsignor Cat also have a thought bubble in which he's eating the birds?

okay, I kinda really love Lacey now.
(No question he's far and away the most accomplished/interesting cartoonists on this thread)

(PS dear Lacey that is not some kind of weird threat or anything, Shakey just has this habit of going on threads after people die and saying he never liked them and doesn't care)

Ahem. That was in Glasgow, not London.
― righteousmaelstrom, Tuesday, 3 July 2007 18:03 (nineteen years ago)
now that is not true at all. I either go on or create RIP threads for specific people I find reprehensible and cheer their passing. I can count on one hand the number of people this has included (Jack Valenti, Jerry Falwell, and whatsername that blonde bimbo).
I would mourn the passing of anyone as skilled and devoted to their craft as Lacey - this is a guy who has obviously crafted a very idiosyncratic and unique style through diligence and attention to detail and I respect that.
― Shakey Mo Collier, Tuesday, 3 July 2007 18:04 (nineteen years ago)
The guy with the Islam tumor wins the offensive award for the day, at least.
― kenan, Tuesday, 3 July 2007 19:08 (nineteen years ago)
I wouldn't trust that doctor, though: he's clearly put a COLANDER on the guy's head.
― nabisco, Tuesday, 3 July 2007 19:11 (nineteen years ago)
Note also that the shape of the skull on the screen is 100% unrelated to the shape of the guy with the colander on his head.
I.e., secret dig at the National Health Service.

but wait! you can find subdivisions amongst your flavors of batshit rightwing cartoonist:
http://www.coxandforkum.com/archives/07.06.28.SecurityMeas-X.gif
where even tho he repeats the "iran is arming the terrists" line(the one that ignores that whole Saudi thing), he's more about the killing the brown people over there than shooting at the brown people over here.

Yes! every progressive educator would always require a child with massive amounts of special needs be stuck into a regular class, and this always happens on the whim of that librul educator(lol pretentious libruls and their nomenclature), and is never the result of a school not having the funding for extra teachers or extra training to handle special kids, thanks to NCLB.

i really enjoy the last panel of the cox & forkum a few posts back. the deranged elephant screaming "MEXICANS!" just that.

Nice! As usual with F'mouse, I don't quite get it. Is the creature (a mouse, right?) pleasuring herself with a pink dildo while wrapped in the American flag? Or is the dildo a pen (?) and it's some comment on free speech or something?
I assume the unnecessarily voluptuous figure is a tribute to Lacey's brothers in (the right to carry) arms, Day by day?
― Mark C, Thursday, 5 July 2007 14:35 (eighteen years ago)
Actually, it's a variation on a Fourth of July cartoon I posted Wednesday- http://www.faithmouse.com/cartoon718blog.gif

Isn't it a wink? And I still don't get the pink thing.
― Mark C, Thursday, 5 July 2007 15:44 (eighteen years ago)
I mean, isn't it a regular eye and the *other* eye is winking?
― Mark C, Thursday, 5 July 2007 15:46 (eighteen years ago)
Oh, maybe! It's pretty hard to tell, though, even with my head turned upside down.
