I did that one today. Also 2 Ben Tausig puzzles (at Metro Times and AV Club) when I had some downtime at work, which used a fair amount of the same answers.

I don' wan' to drive to band practice tonight in the snow.

I'm having fun on the pizza thread. Pizza turns people into assholes, I think, but that's fine.

The roads, at least around here, are completely fine now - even some of the side streets that were a bit treacherous this morning. The sun and traffic has gotten rid of pretty much all the ice/snow on the roads.

God I have made way too many pizzas to be on that thread. When people started talking about how they liked their pizzas constructed I was all thinking no, no, no, NO, NO.

Oh good, Jon. I haven't been outside since this morning. I'll still have to scrape snow off my windshield, though.

jaymc-- i know liz through the wedding website that she and sarah and i were all on. we met last xmas to have a champagne and cupcake tasting at my hotel.

jesse-- you could go to volo, especially on a monday (half price wine bottles), it's dim and cozy and not stupidly expensive.

A-ha! We went to high school together. Now I'm really bummed I can't make the party -- I haven't seen her in about a year and a half.

I had one of the best lunches of my life yesterday at a place that fits Jesse's description (actually, Napa and Sonoma Counties are full of places that fit Jesse's description). It's called Market and it's fancy at dinnertime but they have a lunch deal of soup/sandwich/treat that was so so so so delicious.

I think expensive restaurants with high-value relatively inexpensive lunches are the best thing, besides a good heart and empathy and stuff like that.

I made an awes sandwich for dinner the other night: Tofurkey, havarti, tomato, arugula, avocado, and hummus on wheat toast. Delicious.

(oh, and J, I did win that Scrabulous game -- I was thinking that I would be about 5 points short.)

So what would've happened if I'd played WET and you played GEL and we ended up tied at 345? Would I have been able to keep playing tiles?
