I reviewed the book, it's worthless if you've been listening for the last decade. all compiled interviews (edited & condensed of course), with little commentary from H aside from the introduction and a paragraph or two before each interview. most surprising & disappointing bit is him disavowing the incredible Wilmer Valderrama interview from early 2006, obviously one of the best 06-09 interviews.

lately, the prominence of that canadian Chris guy and Brett the Swinger/former lackey of Bubba made me notice something… the show suddenly has voice actors on call much much more than it did even three, four years ago. I think there's this person called Rachel who does female voice acting, I think she does Ivanka, and then she'll do Ronnie's mom (which is hilarious). Or are these two different people? There have been of course voice actors like the Mitt Romney person, the Arnold person, Hillary, Obama etc who called in I think remotely for many years, but I think the show now has a large team of producers at Sirius HQ in who can do voices on the fly, like the Alex Jones person? has anyone else noticed this? This seems like a significant change from how the show operated…like I would almost say this began two years ago?

I used to have the stern network board as a resource for inside info as to how the show operates, but it's gone and I don't particularly want to fuck with Reddit..

It seems like they have two women. One I think does Ivana and the other does Sarah huckabee.
I think Chris wilding is pretty funny but I have no interest in his personal life. JD on the other hand...

I tried listening a few weeks ago for a few days. Some parts were good, but the news is no longer enjoyable because of the voice actor phonecalls interrupting every 2 minutes.

Large portions of the show these days are skippable , esp the execrable feature interviews. Ronnie and JD bringing the best content for the last couple of months imho
