From my dealings with 'the horror community' on Facebook, Calum is as deeply divisive a figure within that as he was on ILX. His company, 88 films, put out some excellent martial art blu-rays that I will continue to buy in Fopp at £6 a pop.

AFAIK, he also remains the only person to threaten ILX (!) with legal action.

I originally found ILX through Momus, whose music I barely enjoy anymore. Actually I think it was his posts on here that turned me off of him. But I suppose finding this site means I owe him some thanks

i discovered ilx cuz of momus. lurked and read the DMB thread etc but did not register until much later after i had been at stylus cuz i guess i thought you had to be qualified lol

(apart from the music, DD is an AMAZING and very kind and generous person. i don't know much about momus the person but not many people on earth top DD so)

to be clear i also have no beef with any of the above, i just never quite got them separate in my brain. i regret to say i sometimes have this problem with Aimless and Amateurist, it's a thing with me and phonemes, not a reflection on the people's actual distinguishability.
