I feel fairly relaxed about it to be honest - they weren't going to win every game from a point ahead just as they prob don't even need to win every game from a point behind. Form could be better but we'll see how it goes.

nothing but good feelings here

It's pretty great being a Utd fan at the moment

Number None, Sunday, 3 March 2019 18:28 (seven years ago)

I was just trying to give you a pleasant nostalgia for the Fergie days!

FernandoHierro, Sunday, 3 March 2019 18:28 (seven years ago)

Tbh and this is cliche really - the huge overreaction at the end of the match is fairly ridiculous. Like "a disastrous blow" etc - even the raging about the performance from fans - Liverpool had enough good chances to win 3-0. The points tally and season so far is hard to question.

FernandoHierro, Sunday, 3 March 2019 18:33 (seven years ago)

Just looking at the remaining fixtures and Liverpool have a bunch of matches coming up against some poor sides- Cardiff, Huddersfield, Newcastle and Spurs

kolarov spring (NickB), Sunday, 3 March 2019 18:55 (seven years ago)

yes

god knows i want to fp (darraghmac), Sunday, 3 March 2019 18:57 (seven years ago)

I do think our run-in is slightly more favourable. There are nine games to go, who fucking knows. Alexander Ocasio-Chamberlain should make a difference too, he's playing in the reserves this week.

FernandoHierro, Sunday, 3 March 2019 18:58 (seven years ago)

Southampton are being very obliging but we're a completely different and more purposeful team with Dele in it.

Matt DC, Saturday, 9 March 2019 15:19 (seven years ago)

Southampton now winning. Genuinely can’t see a top four finish.

ShariVari, Saturday, 9 March 2019 16:38 (seven years ago)

can you actually believe kyle walker peters

can you believe him

~mine own~ bitcoin (darraghmac), Saturday, 9 March 2019 16:41 (seven years ago)

can you believe danny rose

eric dier

can you believe the cheek and the gall of them

you cant put deliberate decisions to consistently fuck up in the same category as incompetence

~mine own~ bitcoin (darraghmac), Saturday, 9 March 2019 16:42 (seven years ago)

Silva gone

Mike Skeavee (Noodle Vague), Saturday, 9 March 2019 16:42 (seven years ago)

Mike Skeavee (Noodle Vague), Saturday, 9 March 2019 16:44 (seven years ago)

cunts.

~mine own~ bitcoin (darraghmac), Saturday, 9 March 2019 16:57 (seven years ago)

Genuinely can’t see a top four finish

resigned myself to that weeks ago but the fissures it's likely to expose are the bigger issue here. things like Dortmund just mask them

Terry Major-Ball Will Tell You (DJ Mencap), Saturday, 9 March 2019 17:08 (seven years ago)

im glad its over tbh

~mine own~ bitcoin (darraghmac), Saturday, 9 March 2019 17:11 (seven years ago)

You fuckers moan about refs, well Prem ref Roger East just did our game coz it was on the telly and he was on a different fucking planet to the usual absolute shite. You absolutely don't know how good you have it

imago, Saturday, 9 March 2019 19:37 (seven years ago)

Oh fuck off chelsea

kolarov spring (NickB), Sunday, 10 March 2019 15:54 (seven years ago)

Fair but ouch. Wd've took the point at 2

Carpool Tunnel (Noodle Vague), Sunday, 10 March 2019 15:58 (seven years ago)

Think Ruben shd've chopped him

Carpool Tunnel (Noodle Vague), Sunday, 10 March 2019 15:59 (seven years ago)

Was rooting hard for your boys there

kolarov spring (NickB), Sunday, 10 March 2019 16:02 (seven years ago)

Felt sure we'd give them a game, painful to concede from there but point clear on 7th isn't bad

Carpool Tunnel (Noodle Vague), Sunday, 10 March 2019 16:05 (seven years ago)

utd with an incredible move there, not quite getting the last bit right

imago, Sunday, 10 March 2019 17:19 (seven years ago)

yeah, would have been one for the ages

Been the better team since the formation change, but Rashford is having a nightmare

I don't blame de Gea overly for the goal either. Xhaka looks he's shaping to curl it the other way and then cuts across it at the last minute

Be disappointed if we don't get a draw here.

Number None, Sunday, 10 March 2019 17:28 (seven years ago)

Fucking dive

kolarov spring (NickB), Sunday, 10 March 2019 17:59 (seven years ago)

yeah, disgraceful

ah well, run had to end sometime

Number None, Sunday, 10 March 2019 18:00 (seven years ago)

Feel bad for fred cos he was having an okay match

kolarov spring (NickB), Sunday, 10 March 2019 18:00 (seven years ago)

Arsenal's run-in is a real piece of piss as well.

Matt DC, Sunday, 10 March 2019 18:08 (seven years ago)

Greenwood

the narrative

Number None, Sunday, 10 March 2019 18:10 (seven years ago)

was actually hoping for enough of a shellacking that Utd would go third on goal difference as it'd be overall beneficial for us I reckon. bleh

Terry Major-Ball Will Tell You (DJ Mencap), Sunday, 10 March 2019 18:17 (seven years ago)

Until now I'd been rather complacently assuming that Arsenal would drop enough points against midtable opposition but I'm not so sure now.

Matt DC, Sunday, 10 March 2019 18:22 (seven years ago)

I think they will

they haven't even been good today

Number None, Sunday, 10 March 2019 18:22 (seven years ago)

Shocking for Utd to suffer a dodgy pen

Carpool Tunnel (Noodle Vague), Sunday, 10 March 2019 18:30 (seven years ago)

lol are ye still following football pfft

~mine own~ bitcoin (darraghmac), Sunday, 10 March 2019 18:35 (seven years ago)

eh

just seemed like things weren't going to run our way today

Number None, Sunday, 10 March 2019 18:35 (seven years ago)

enjoying the media enjoying the chance to hysterically react to a couple of bell-ends running on the pitch

Carpool Tunnel (Noodle Vague), Monday, 11 March 2019 09:16 (seven years ago)

Wait are you talking about the unprovoked physical assault or something else?

Matt DC, Monday, 11 March 2019 09:29 (seven years ago)

spurs fullbacks

~mine own~ bitcoin (darraghmac), Monday, 11 March 2019 09:32 (seven years ago)

it was v bad and i don't think it merits a week of hysterical "should we put massive cages back up and strip-search everybody going into a football ground?" ffs

Carpool Tunnel (Noodle Vague), Monday, 11 March 2019 09:34 (seven years ago)

also imo it wasn't as bad as the transparent joy of Five Live/daytime TV wankers having something to fill a fucking schedule with

Carpool Tunnel (Noodle Vague), Monday, 11 March 2019 09:37 (seven years ago)

they don't get paid enough to have to put up with infrequent nonsense like that.

calzino, Monday, 11 March 2019 09:39 (seven years ago)

just a little pre-admission match form would do the trick?

Are you concealing any severed pigs heads/fireworks/bricks yes/no

Do you intend to enter the pitch of play and run up to a player and nervously give them a little shove and then get wrestled to the ground by 9 stewards and get a banning order yes/no

calzino, Monday, 11 March 2019 09:50 (seven years ago)

Alan Shearer has realised he can get the biggest profile by being the most outraged person, hasn't he?

mfktz (Camaraderie at Arms Length), Monday, 11 March 2019 10:11 (seven years ago)

Gary Neville is "very concerned" because lest we forget 26 years ago a tennis player got stabbed.

"We have reached the point where banning individual fans for going on the pitch is simply not enough of a punishment.

lol what more could you do? Fucking start amputating legs?

calzino, Monday, 11 March 2019 10:37 (seven years ago)

yesterday he was talking about docking teams points or making them play behind closed doors. obviously it would be awful if arsenal got three points taken off them for yesterdays one-man pitch invasion and i for one would be inconsolable were that to happen

martin tyler was banging on about it during the man u match - at one point he enthusiastically started saying "30 years ago we had big fences to keep the fans off the pitch..." and then his voice trailed off all awkwardly as he remembered what actually happened in 1989

kolarov spring (NickB), Monday, 11 March 2019 11:01 (seven years ago)

just need all pitches to be raised with steep sides like old trafford. your typical pitch invader would be out of breath by the time he got near a player.

thomasintrouble, Monday, 11 March 2019 11:08 (seven years ago)

just need a croc-filled moat with ballboys on jet skis

kolarov spring (NickB), Monday, 11 March 2019 11:18 (seven years ago)

levy would fill ours with fondue and sell it as an executive perk

~mine own~ bitcoin (darraghmac), Monday, 11 March 2019 11:22 (seven years ago)

Carpool Tunnel (Noodle Vague), Monday, 11 March 2019 11:23 (seven years ago)
