I'm total anti-nerd when it comes to coffee (and food in general). :-( I don't care what it is, just as long as it has flavour. Fuck plain water. Lol

I love water. I drink so much of it. Probably unnecessary amounts.

i own multiple water bottles, some i bring around with me, some live at home, then i drink water out of them, i also have multiple "to go" coffee bottles

I really like the siphon, its seems smoother than the Chemex, that may be a functionalists of meetups putting too hot water into the Chemex whereas the siphon kind of brevets that.

I am staying somewhere that just has a regular drip coffee maker. I have not used one of these in over 10, 15, 20? years and have never owned one. I went to make coffee and got stumped about whether I needed to leave the lid off or on the coffee pot. I left it off. There is only one button on the machine and I managed to mess up the process (despite having been a barista and serving coffee in a bar before).
