groovypanda, Sunday, 10 February 2019 20:43 (seven years ago)

a helluva catch

Friedrich B. Neechy (Oor Neechy), Sunday, 10 February 2019 20:46 (seven years ago)

shannon gabriel must fancy his chances of ripping more than a few out tonight if he bowls like he did in the morning

Friedrich B. Neechy (Oor Neechy), Sunday, 10 February 2019 20:46 (seven years ago)

There can't be a single England fan rooting for Jennings here? Would be such a fucking pisser if he played any sort of innings to keep his spot here

imago, Sunday, 10 February 2019 21:00 (seven years ago)

I'm torn. I feel bad for the guy but he's plainly not up to it.

I think I'd pick Roy. And Hain has had a decentish tour with the Lions.

Good cop, Babcock (Chinaski), Sunday, 10 February 2019 21:02 (seven years ago)

haha If he scored a ton he'd be playing against the Aussies who will destroy him (their bowling might well do that whoever we put up, but no point in making it easy for them)

Friedrich B. Neechy (Oor Neechy), Sunday, 10 February 2019 21:03 (seven years ago)

Roy is a dasher but if he is scoring runs it wont be a problem. Nobody else we try has succeeded.

Friedrich B. Neechy (Oor Neechy), Sunday, 10 February 2019 21:04 (seven years ago)

There really is noone else, is there?

Friedrich B. Neechy (Oor Neechy), Sunday, 10 February 2019 21:04 (seven years ago)

Hildreth, I guess?

I wonder if we'll see Bell again too...

Good cop, Babcock (Chinaski), Sunday, 10 February 2019 21:08 (seven years ago)

he would need to score a ton of runs in march/april. I dont see many batsmen doing well in those months, lol

Friedrich B. Neechy (Oor Neechy), Sunday, 10 February 2019 21:15 (seven years ago)

Gubbins, perhaps, but you wouldn't want him debuting against Australia. Roy seems like as good a pick as anyone.

Neil S, Sunday, 10 February 2019 22:11 (seven years ago)

tbh I just want someone called Gubbins to play for England, that and Stokes-Foakes-Woakes in the same team

Neil S, Sunday, 10 February 2019 22:16 (seven years ago)

Moeen!!!! What a catch!! Wow!!!

Friedrich B. Neechy (Oor Neechy), Tuesday, 12 February 2019 14:39 (seven years ago)

Taking Stokes off at 48no feels wrong

Elitist cheese photos (aldo), Tuesday, 12 February 2019 14:45 (seven years ago)

This could be all over today

10-3

groovypanda, Tuesday, 12 February 2019 15:10 (seven years ago)

I think that's probably innings of the century so far?

imago, Saturday, 16 February 2019 14:12 (seven years ago)

Perera? Extraordinary - against, Steyn, Rabada and Philander, too.

Good cop, Babcock (Chinaski), Saturday, 16 February 2019 16:05 (seven years ago)

Well, not the injured Philander, but yes

imago, Saturday, 16 February 2019 16:57 (seven years ago)

Some incredible batting happening here. England going to get a gigantic total if these 2 can keep going.

Going to be fun watching Chris Gayle in reply for sure.

Thus Spoke Darraghustra (Oor Neechy), Wednesday, 27 February 2019 16:57 (seven years ago)

Buttler 100 in 60 balls.

specific goats my way (Noodle Vague), Friday, 31 May 2019 12:09 (seven years ago)

Awesome.

Ned Caligari (Tom D.), Friday, 31 May 2019 14:10 (seven years ago)

Thought Gayle was trying to finish it inside 10 overs, i'm sure the sponsors will have a word

specific goats my way (Noodle Vague), Friday, 31 May 2019 14:39 (seven years ago)

So glad they cut down the number of nations, the telly people just would not like all the one sided results.

Tokyo Ghetto Stüssy (King Boy Pato), Sunday, 2 June 2019 03:57 (seven years ago)

Seems like teams are getting nosebleeds having to bat beyond 20 overs.

The Guts of Duran Duran (Tom D.), Sunday, 2 June 2019 09:35 (seven years ago)

Bangladesh bucking the trend by building a useful total against SA.

The Guts of Duran Duran (Tom D.), Sunday, 2 June 2019 12:21 (seven years ago)

Excellent from Bangladesh.

The Guts of Duran Duran (Tom D.), Sunday, 2 June 2019 17:28 (seven years ago)

Pakistan at over 6 an over for first 12 against England.

Moeen's just got a wicket though.

groovypanda, Monday, 3 June 2019 10:38 (seven years ago)

Great over from Ali.

ShariVari, Monday, 3 June 2019 17:26 (seven years ago)

Zindabad!

ShariVari, Monday, 3 June 2019 17:51 (seven years ago)

Not sure if that was more 'lol england' than it was 'lol pakistan'

Tokyo Ghetto Stüssy (King Boy Pato), Monday, 3 June 2019 21:46 (seven years ago)

england can't field that badly again, surely

imago, Monday, 3 June 2019 21:48 (seven years ago)

sri lanka bringing the bad

Tokyo Ghetto Stüssy (King Boy Pato), Friday, 7 June 2019 09:52 (seven years ago)

Just the 386 runs for England.

Plunkett gets 27 off 9 balls at the end

groovypanda, Saturday, 8 June 2019 13:26 (seven years ago)

afghanistan just can't keep a good thing going with the bat

imago, Saturday, 8 June 2019 13:26 (seven years ago)

Windies at 55-3 in the 14th over

groovypanda, Friday, 14 June 2019 10:35 (seven years ago)

Bangladesh smashed it v. Windies today.

Orpheus Knutt (Tom D.), Monday, 17 June 2019 17:35 (seven years ago)

When City stick 9 past Burton it's 'vulgar'; when Morgan hits 17 sixes off Afghanistan, it's a thing of majesty. Discuss.

Good cop, Babcock (Chinaski), Tuesday, 18 June 2019 16:17 (seven years ago)

In both instances it's gotta be done tbf

Tho run rate, etc

Oy McVey (Noodle Vague), Tuesday, 18 June 2019 16:18 (seven years ago)

Afghanistan have a credible international spin-bowling attack, is the difference

imago, Tuesday, 18 June 2019 16:29 (seven years ago)

Rashid went for 110 off 9 overs. Oof.

Good cop, Babcock (Chinaski), Tuesday, 18 June 2019 16:32 (seven years ago)

He finished on 3-66 after 10

groovypanda, Tuesday, 18 June 2019 16:45 (seven years ago)

I was meaning the Afghan spinner, Rashid Khan - got carted all over the place. He's been a brilliant bowler for the last couple of years but it's not happening at all this World Cup. I can only assume it's the conditions.

Good cop, Babcock (Chinaski), Tuesday, 18 June 2019 16:51 (seven years ago)

No patronise intended but Afghanistan have at least had a go every match

Oy McVey (Noodle Vague), Tuesday, 18 June 2019 16:51 (seven years ago)
