gg believes that neoliberal neoconservative elites in the US are being challenged by Trumpism and that they're the greatest threat to liberty and life on the planet. he is not totally devoid of facts for arguing that POV even if i think ultimately he's deluding himself and inconsistent etc. i don't think he's obviously not on the left. like many on the left he has chosen who the ultimate enemy is and he's willing to make strange bedfellows to combat them.

Has Michael Tracey done/written anything particularly notable/worth reading? I feel like I’ve only become aware of him in the context of him going on Carlson to rant about russiagate.

And half of twitter arguing about him, but I’m not clear why he matters.

None of these people have done anything notable. They could all be buried in the same avalanche at no loss to the world.

Not quite as baffling as the obsession with WASBAPPIN among people I follow on twitter but getting there.
