Bingo has since been tossed out. In fact the whole process has gotten so fuX0red that we kept having vote after vote (no less than five times) until my niece (WHO DOES NOT EVEN LIVE HERE) got her way because my dad (her granddad) coddles her like a fucking baby (she's 13). Anyway, his name is now Sampson. Yes, with a fucking "P" in it.

Anyway, last night we'd all kind of settled on Quincy (dunno what everyone else thought, but the name was inspired by Quincy Jones), having a vote of 4-to-1 over Sampson. But apparently someone complained whined granddad and then we had to have another vote today (the fifth!) and now Sampson mysteriously wins 3-to-2.

I know I sound like the shittiest uncle ever, but I respect the democratic process. Even if the winner had been a name I didn't suggest, that would be cool (as long as it wasn't stoopid). But this voting over and over so a little girl gets her way is straight bullshit.
