Dogs are great but allowing them into indoor areas of establishments needs to stop. My fav brewery still smells like dog, even tho it's been over a month since they changed rule allowing them inside. It's gross.

For a significant amount of time (before online dating) I had a job where I edited and laid out newspaper personals ads. It was fascinating but also a little heartbreaking.

The way people feel they have to pick a few signifiers, cultural dogwhistles, or whatever. It provides a fast sort, I understand the impulse. If you believe you need to date a juggalo or a knitter or a MAGAnaut, then you pretty much do.

I bought my last dog off this uber Kennel Club snob who lived in a huge farmhouse and was a massive twat. When she realised I wasn't posh as fuck she started giving me priceless advice like reminding me that dogs need walking daily, nutrition, breath oxygen and need the vets when they are poorly etc .. because lowlife like me keep 'em in cages and feed em' leftover chips of course.
