Nazi salute by Wayne Hennesey 🤔? pic.twitter.com/U4eYrvZjK5— GoalMouthFC (@GooalMouth) January 6, 2019
Yesterday evening I had a meal with my team mates and we had a group photograph. I waved and shouted at the person taking the picture to get on with it and at the same time put my hand over my mouth to make the sound carry. It’s been brought to my attention that frozen in a— Wayne Hennessey (@WayneHennessey1) January 6, 2019
moment by the camera this looks like I am making a completely inappropriate type of salute. I can assure everyone I would never ever do that and any resemblance to that kind of gesture is absolutely coincidental. Love and peace Wayne— Wayne Hennessey (@WayneHennessey1) January 6, 2019
Amazing.

Not sure any keeper should be attempting a Nazi salute in a setpiece situation fwiw.

Moussa Dembele is on his way out
― lbi's life of limitless european glamour (Le Bateau Ivre), Tuesday, 8 January 2019 12:25 (seven years ago)
this time last year that was our team
― topical mlady (darraghmac), Tuesday, 8 January 2019 12:33 (seven years ago)
ah, mousa. I didn't understand him at first. he wasn't an especially good passer, barely ever shot, wasn't that quick and always seemed to hold onto the ball for too long. poch arrived and everything changed; all the players were now defenders, pressing, trying to muscle past their opponents and gain ground, and suddenly dembele made perfect sense. strong, balanced & agreeably vicious, he wld shrug off opponents and charge past in a Ronaldo-esque fashion, always getting fouled, always looking like he was abt to mutter something under his breath. he tied the team together, was indispensable for a few seasons and had some magnificent performances in big games. fare well beefy prince
― ogmor, Tuesday, 8 January 2019 12:40 (seven years ago)
he had the best hips in football for a while
― topical mlady (darraghmac), Tuesday, 8 January 2019 12:42 (seven years ago)
Eriksen to Real in the summer seems to be gaining traction
(with possibility of Isco moving the other way)
― groovypanda, Tuesday, 8 January 2019 12:57 (seven years ago)
xp Absolutely. Ogmor otm. When he was good he was great.
― lbi's life of limitless european glamour (Le Bateau Ivre), Tuesday, 8 January 2019 12:58 (seven years ago)
Even last year Dembele was destroying and dominating some of the best midfielders in Europe, he was just impossible to knock off the ball. But I'm guessing we're getting a decent whack for him even now.
― Matt DC, Tuesday, 8 January 2019 13:33 (seven years ago)
Ah OK ÂŁ11m. That's not bad at all considering his age and injury record.
― Matt DC, Tuesday, 8 January 2019 13:34 (seven years ago)
out of contract in the summer too. eriksen to real seems like standard newspaper filler
― ogmor, Tuesday, 8 January 2019 13:38 (seven years ago)
what, you're above the Carabao Cup now are ya?
― Number None, Tuesday, 8 January 2019 21:55 (seven years ago)
weird game. always something going on, or on the cusp of, but very arrhythmic and full of misjudgements. Rose was great repelling attacks and seems to offer almost nothing else atm. playing it out from the back resulted in losing possession around the centre circle nearly every time. resilience in the last half hour was superb but its neccessity largely avoidable
― Terry Major-Ball Will Tell You (DJ Mencap), Tuesday, 8 January 2019 22:08 (seven years ago)
thought that was a proper game that
we changed it up completely, abandoned possession and pass-to-death in favour of hitting their high line, it made shit of our stats but its where the goal came from and on another night could've seen them with a red or two besides
we couldve played better sure but the thrust and energy was there
thought rose was great meself. he contained a pair of attacking threats and pinned them back now and again with a run
love 2 see our centre backs pinging diagonals
yerman is a very safe backup to lloris.
dont think we'll go through but enjoyed that v much
― topical mlady (darraghmac), Wednesday, 9 January 2019 05:14 (seven years ago)
Yeah Rose seemed fine defensively but has completely lost the ability to pass in advanced positions, he seems to just lose his head completely and give it either to the opposition or hoof a ridiculous cross to no one.
― Matt DC, Wednesday, 9 January 2019 08:17 (seven years ago)
Poor old Burton
― groovypanda, Wednesday, 9 January 2019 21:24 (seven years ago)

― Master Humphrey's Cock (Bananaman Begins), Wednesday, 9 January 2019 22:11 (seven years ago)
aye.. Burton still aren't technically out of this worthless cup competition yet.
― calzino, Wednesday, 9 January 2019 22:15 (seven years ago)
conduct of City players reasonable and unvulgar imo. fans booing because they were only given two minutes of added time to score a tenth less so
― Terry Major-Ball Will Tell You (DJ Mencap), Wednesday, 9 January 2019 22:33 (seven years ago)
two minutes is bullshit tho, ref's not there to spare Burton's blushes
― Master Humphrey's Cock (Bananaman Begins), Wednesday, 9 January 2019 23:34 (seven years ago)
in City's FA Cup game on the weekend the ref blew dead on 90:00 when there'd been I think four 2nd half goals and some substitutions. no one seemed arsed then tho

this thing of warnock being a national treasure type figure now hes old and not dead yet and fake chummy in interviews is disturbing
hes a cunt, a total cunt. hes always been a total cunt. a permanently seething basin of negativity that sticks around in bad storylines cos you need a cunt but irl gets found out long before the last chapter and im just constantly surprised hes not been written out of football.
in every way hes a less acceptable allardyce, hes the ne plus ultra of the concept of a poundshop mourinho
when the world allows for a cunt like that run a premier league team- they are dont laugh- then a wto-exit does start to sound appealing tbf
― topical mlady (darraghmac), Sunday, 13 January 2019 12:00 (seven years ago)
No one thinks that about Warnock.
― Matt DC, Sunday, 13 January 2019 12:53 (seven years ago)
he's like a father figure to one of my old schoolmates Chris Billy, who I think played for at 3 different clubs in the 90's. I used to have a soft spot for him because of old Wembley '95 memories, but fuck him - he's a dispicable old cunt really. The whole lot of 'em are tbf. Let's have a brexit panel discussion show with Colin, Souness, Dyche and Monk!

I bet there are still sizable pro Colin groups of fans amongst Hudds, Qpr and his Blades. One promotion season washes away all sorts of fuckery.
