re Romney the republicans really have pretty much every flavor of marvel villain covered

- greedbag bully with his name in gold letters on a tower who thinks he's charming
- corporate raider with shark-like smile who runs "bain capital"

actually they all kind of fit into those categories

unfortunately for us all, the first one of those is marvel's flagship *hero*

the irony is that between recreating dances from a 30 year-old movie, being really into Star Trek apparently, and I think I saw in the yearbook reveal yesterday that she was in Key Club, AOC is actually a damn nerd.

idk: out of the major Marvel villains, this covers Perelman and Perlmutter OK, but while you can probably map Cheney to Goodman and Bush-as-veep to Shooter, it's going to be hard to find a gladhanding backstabber who steals credit from everyone while achieving very little, gets paid millions specifically for fucking other people over, and is regarded as a PR genius for spouting a handful of tired catchphrases for decades on end, all the while wearing a ludicrously obvious hairpiece.
