Tbh I’m surprised that ppl who seem to be way more involved on ILX than I am these days seemed to not have seen any of that but it happened repeatedly for months

i hope you don't think of me as one of those ppl, because I like only read about a dozen threads anymore, so I really saw none of this

obv most ppl didn't see those threads! most posters probably never encountered Ross at all. but it gets weirdly gaslighty when ppl who didn't see it get all "aw he was nice to me, you're being mean by telling us about a thing that happened"

like, last time (iirc aimn) I mentioned Ross wishing death on other posters, Ross later blew up in that same thread and wished death on other posters, I quoted him wishing death on other posters like "just saying," and someone said "that's not a death THREAT, ghod, you're blowing it all out of proportion"

(again, I hope Ross is doing well IRL.)

Yeah Ross is like one of two posters to ever 'verbally assault' me in my +/- fifteen years here, but I ain't mad and I hope he's well.

Hey everyone! I just found this thread and wanted to address a few things:

1. I also posted under the "krushsister" handle for awhile but didn't mention it because I figured everyone knew about that already.
2. I'm super touched some of y'all have mentioned me and if y'all want to keep up with me, I'm 100% available on FB. A lot of the old-timers on here will know my RL name/are FB friends with me just in case we're not FB friends already. I'm especially interested in the old "This is The Thread Where I Say" gang, even after knowing about the financial shit Luna pulled. (Which, BTW, is the thing I objected to on that particular thread, not her going as an alias [since I went by an alias on here myself].)
3. The times I'd soured on ILX were purely because I felt like a real outsider around here, thoughts probably fueled by untreated depression and anxiety issues (of which there are/were PLENTY, but after seeing how people really are I recognize this forum as the truly open-minded one it's been all throughout its existence, even during times of high drama.
4. I'll read stuff on here every now and then because I love reading insightful stuff from "internet mentalists" as someone (I forget who) once brilliantly coined, but a lot of the time I'm too busy to keep up with much aside from FB, so if you want to friend me on there then PLEASE PLEASE DO.
5. I'm still really, really, really fucking into Duran Duran and '80s synthpop. The more things change....

Oh! Forgot to mention that I've met some ILXors IRL now! I hung with Texas Sam/Ms Misery after attending a DD concert in Austin in the summer of 2016 (she even let me crash at her house and we had breakfast together the next morning!), and met up with Andrew Farrell while visiting London around Christmastime 2017.

I had tentative plans to meet Sam at a bar in Dallas once but it never materialized. You are Dee from SA right?
