An interesting All Stars would have a second chances theme for girls who were eliminated really early like Kelly Mantle or April Carrion.

As for this upcoming season, it looks to me like the first one without a predetermined winner in mind.

This ep had the benefit of coming a week after the worst thing I've ever seen in my entire life.

It was totally fine. Tho if I'm to be totally honest I think Monique won that LSFYL.

Also, seemed a little weird to re-introduce two previous all-stars and then both of them are merely safe the first week. Like, make at least one of them a serious threat?

Trixie otm. I'm ok with Monique hitting the cow stuff hard in the variety show but Monet repeating her crossing/splits-fakeout thing was very disappointing -- she can do so much better! (I wonder if going from 10 to AS4 means that she hasn't had the time to replenish her gag bag.)

Monique’s lipsync was a nope for me. the stupid wig flip like, 30 SECONDS into the song? and then that fake orgasm finale. ugh. wall to wall Gimmicks & jumps in your first lipsync in allstars to classic MARIAH? cmon.

Trinity sold it way better imo.

With apologies to Latrice: GGGGGIAR (good god Gia Gunn give it a rest). I didn't notice her being extra shady the first episode but she just morphed into Messy Drama Jesus.

Which naturally overshadows Valentina who definitely slayed the main challenge and lipsync and definitely is starring in her own one-woman telenovela.

Monique clearly the right choice to stay but if she had more self-awareness she'd be incredible.

And the whole show is so metatextual now, I guess this is what a long-running successful reality show is bound to be in 2018.

OK, I underestimated Manila's capacity for tele-genic (and not just messy, self-serving) drama.

Top 3 are going to be Trinity, Valentina and Manila, and it kills me to see Latrice fading into the background so consistently thus far.

Last week's episode showed the real danger of consistently going to 90 minutes because that dragged, in the bad way. Thankfully this worked better this week.

Manila rules and always has. Latrice does seem to be more...relaxed.

Latrice vs. Monique was REALLY the show-stopper though, my fist banged the table four times

They were a bit messier for me, but I loved how hard they were both fighting for it! Wigs left & right lol
