That's ignoring the fact they're in the top three publishers on fb. It's the clips, the soundbites getting pumped around on social media doing the real damage imo. And the audience is a hell of a lot bigger than a million or two there.

It's a mistake to conflate the audience numbers for any one time slot with the collective audience over a day's or a week's time.

simpler messages are easy to disseminate, and reality is almost always complicated. that doesn't mean that there aren't ways to effectively communicate left-leaning ideas that are grounded in truth and reality, but it does provide a significant messaging advantage to those who are ok with just making up shit

TV news of any stripe is one of the least tolerable things I can imagine having on the TV for any length of time whatsoever. Even like MSNBC in small doses makes my blood pressure spike.

I read the news but I don't have cable so thus can't watch 24 hours news. I catch it on at places and can't even imagine why people would just leave it on in their home.

Maybe it's just me, but I can't imagine a worse way to deliver/receive news than 'LOUD GARISH & FAST'. I've been long advocating that all TV news should have a tone more like CSPAN.
