Is Collins an idiot? Sometimes I wonder if she or really any of these senators truly understand anything more than what it takes to get elected. Laws, news reports, controversies, the effects of their votes ... sometimes they act like they live in a secluded vacuum.

according to collins, kavanaugh's previous support for measures to protect the president from prosecution while in office means that believes that the president does not CURRENTLY have protection from prosecution while in office, therefore we don't have to worry about kavanaugh siding with trump on such a case
