i just don't want them to be wasted, especially since i saw mbv at the roundhouse last week and am still reeling with the wonder of it :-(

I haven't been to NPL for ages, but it's nice to know its there for all your Altered Images and Mark E Smith needs, if you have such things. Perhaps we're all too old now. I shall be red and lizardy though (this plan is subject to minor fluctuation depending on seating and eating requirements, but we won't be far away and most glasgow peeps have my mobile no and its on my facebook page if you don't and you can't find us and you're my friend)

that was tremendous. low ceilinged venues are where it's at, if you want to channel noise into your brain. the pastels sweet blends were pretty great too.

The Pastels are support tonight. Onstage at 7.45pm.
MBV are onstage 9pm (approx) and off at 11.
(I phoned up the barras to ask)

That's a much longer set then, they were on at 9 and off at 10.30 in London.

well i wont be surprised if they dont come on at 9

my mate who saw them last night said they came on about 9.15 and were off 10.45, so i think it's the same kind of set and the barras don't do minutes :)

well at least that means i dont need to rush out at the end and can just take my time. Getting picked up at 11.
I usually leave by the fire exit at the back right of the hall if they still allow that. Not been to the barras in years.
