great show (although give the ticket prices, i'd sure hope so)

to everyone's surprise (?) violet chachki stole the show
though i gotta say that one of eureka's numbers was amazing (and i hate eureka)

aquaria was great, really inhabits herself

asia did a piece about dying butterflies

Might have been said before but Aquaria is the Valentina dream realized. She really exposed what Valentina was lacking this last season.

I wish they had waited a year before AS4, the line up feels a bit lacklustre and I think part of it is simply timing

I think it's a great cast for the most part, but I agree they are milking that cow dry. Makes it feel less special to have an AS every year.

As much as I love them, calling back Latrice and Manila for another AS is redundant imo. Replace them and Farrah Moan with Nina Bonina, Shea, Ongina and Mariah and we've got a perfect cast (I know it's already been filmed).

I don't think it's chance that there are only two white contestants in this round -- or that we're getting Monet and Monique back.

Season 1 is so underrated. Nina Flowers, Tammy Brown, Ongina, Bebe and Shannel are classic. (x-post)

An interesting All Stars would have a second chances theme for girls who were eliminated really early like Kelly Mantle or April Carrion.

As for this upcoming season, it looks to me like the first one without a predetermined winner in mind.

This ep had the benefit of coming a week after the worst thing I've ever seen in my entire life.

It was totally fine. Tho if I'm to be totally honest I think Monique won that LSFYL.

Also, seemed a little weird to re-introduce two previous all-stars and then both of them are merely safe the first week. Like, make at least one of them a serious threat?

Monique’s lipsync was a nope for me. the stupid wig flip like, 30 SECONDS into the song? and then that fake orgasm finale. ugh. wall to wall Gimmicks & jumps in your first lipsync in allstars to classic MARIAH? cmon.
