This is the thread for senselessly frittering away the last hour of a Friday afternoon

Alright, here's the question of the day:

I can think of nothing more enticing for me today than buying a 22 oz beer, putting it in some opaque container, and having it as a road soda on the way home. Mind you, I live in LA, have a 22 mile drive to get home, and it will be Friday afternoon traffic.

Seriously - one beer. Not three or five, but one.

Should I do this - yes or no?

nah just have five and then get a taxi home.

I don't know - it sounds risky to me even though you'd probably be fine. I've always been very cautious with drinking and driving stuff.

So sleepless and bored I can't keep my eyes open. If it weren't for the fact that my car is supposed to be repaired by 6pm, I'd tell my boss I'm sick and go home right now.

I used to do this with Bohemian Rhapsody, and bob my head to the "Galileo Galileo" bit

The songs that go through my head tend to be the instrumental versions of jazz numbers. One favorite is Wes Montgomery's recording of Sonny Rollins' "Airegin" from "The Incredible Jazz Guitar of Wes Montgomery."

So, if I type what's in my head it comes out more like.

dude in the afternoon the sun comes in the windows and renders the a/c completely ineffective and it's pissing me off.
