I'm changing my name.

cozen (Cozen), Wednesday, 14 April 2004 16:29 (twenty-two years ago)

cozen (Cozen), Wednesday, 14 April 2004 16:34 (twenty-two years ago)

A comma in one's name is even more preposterous than a colon.

N. (nickdastoor), Wednesday, 14 April 2004 16:35 (twenty-two years ago)

Robbie Lumsden (Wallace Stevens HQ), Wednesday, 14 April 2004 16:39 (twenty-two years ago)

rather it's spelt I-W-A-S-C-O-N-C-E-I-V-E-D-I-N-K-E-L-D

except after C damn...

Robbie Lumsden (Wallace Stevens HQ), Wednesday, 14 April 2004 16:41 (twenty-two years ago)

Robbie, you must stop writing in that -- modern way.

It makes it hard for me to read, the thread, for instance.

N., did you not really have a heart attack?

I was worried for a while. A minute.

Should I not be?

the blissfox, Wednesday, 14 April 2004 17:32 (twenty-two years ago)

I think you really love N..

cozen (Cozen), Wednesday, 14 April 2004 17:44 (twenty-two years ago)

I didn't have a heart attack but my chest still hurts. I am on antibiotics.

N. (nickdastoor), Wednesday, 14 April 2004 17:45 (twenty-two years ago)

'think'

the bellefox, Wednesday, 14 April 2004 17:49 (twenty-two years ago)

yeah, that's a larf and a harf!

RJG (RJG), Wednesday, 14 April 2004 17:50 (twenty-two years ago)

I'm an unhappy half-time camper here.

cozen (Cozen), Wednesday, 14 April 2004 17:51 (twenty-two years ago)

I'm not much of a thinker.

cozen (Cozen), Wednesday, 14 April 2004 17:51 (twenty-two years ago)

He does not love me.

I have noticed.

the bellefox, Wednesday, 14 April 2004 17:51 (twenty-two years ago)

Hey Cozen - who (other than Steve) is the connection between U and I?

Robbie Lumsden (Wallace Stevens HQ), Wednesday, 14 April 2004 17:54 (twenty-two years ago)

I was wrong: on this thread he says he does!

Happy Birthday The Pinefox!

the blissfox, Wednesday, 14 April 2004 18:09 (twenty-two years ago)

robbie - did you work in fusion / the dining room for a couple of shifts?

cozen (Cozen), Wednesday, 14 April 2004 21:16 (twenty-two years ago)

I did work in Fusion for two shifts way back in 2002. were you a-working there?

Robbie Lumsden (Wallace Stevens HQ), Wednesday, 14 April 2004 22:54 (twenty-two years ago)

two shifts, that's right. yeah, I was right above.

cozen (Cozen), Wednesday, 14 April 2004 22:56 (twenty-two years ago)

two shifts, that's right. yeah, I was right above.

words tripping me up here. you were right (as in correct) above (as in an above post) OR you were right above (as in directly above in the mezzanine) while i worked those two shifts....

hmmmmmm...

Robbie Lumsden (Wallace Stevens HQ), Wednesday, 14 April 2004 23:02 (twenty-two years ago)

I'm an enigma wrapped in a fuckhead.

cozen (Cozen), Thursday, 15 April 2004 10:12 (twenty-two years ago)

I lose track of all these new bars.

RJG (RJG), Thursday, 15 April 2004 10:13 (twenty-two years ago)

I prefer the old Oban Inn than any of your Bar Bolas. Despite more modern music on the juke-box—your Pink Floyd and Steve Miller and what have you—there are guys in there who will commence a sea chanty or two with such loud abruptitude that you think they might be picking up where they left off some eighty years ago (it having taken them that long to remember the next verse.)

I think I've been picking up on my inner flake, having somewhat disguised it in the years since I lived on Ruthven Street.

I like Bar 10, but I won't cry wolf any more.

Tracer Hand (tracerhand), Thursday, 15 April 2004 10:40 (twenty-two years ago)

The old Oban Inn is a cracker, I'll give you that.

N. (nickdastoor), Thursday, 15 April 2004 10:46 (twenty-two years ago)

N. I think I saw you on Monday, two blocks down from the Herald, carrying a sandwich. But I was having a silent argument with my girlfriend which needed attending to.

Tracer Hand (tracerhand), Thursday, 15 April 2004 10:54 (twenty-two years ago)

You dragged your girlfriend here too? Or have you just acquired one aleady.

I am often carrying sandwiches.

N. (nickdastoor), Thursday, 15 April 2004 11:01 (twenty-two years ago)

Try eating them, for once.

Mooro (Mooro), Thursday, 15 April 2004 11:07 (twenty-two years ago)

they're not always vegetarian but neither is he.

RJG (RJG), Thursday, 15 April 2004 11:09 (twenty-two years ago)

A good bar is the Alpen Lodge on Union Street (i think). a free jukebox stocked with fine 50's records and cheap...

Robbie Lumsden (Wallace Stevens HQ), Thursday, 15 April 2004 11:13 (twenty-two years ago)

http://www.geocities.com/r_gillanders/smallmay.txt

btw.

RJG (RJG), Thursday, 15 April 2004 11:13 (twenty-two years ago)

Ta, Dick.

You never know.

the bluefox, Thursday, 15 April 2004 11:16 (twenty-two years ago)

wait for the next one, I think, PF.

RJG (RJG), Thursday, 15 April 2004 11:17 (twenty-two years ago)

(Mooro -- once again: a *second* e-mail address of yours bounced my mail!

Apologies if this should not be aired on this thread.

But then, everything else has been.)

the bluefox, Thursday, 15 April 2004 11:17 (twenty-two years ago)

cookie's sheets haven't been aired, anywhere.

RJG (RJG), Thursday, 15 April 2004 11:19 (twenty-two years ago)

Mooro (Mooro), Thursday, 15 April 2004 11:29 (twenty-two years ago)

Is that yer Ayrshire bacon?

Mooro (Mooro), Thursday, 15 April 2004 11:29 (twenty-two years ago)

cookie should use 'bounce'.

RJG (RJG), Thursday, 15 April 2004 11:30 (twenty-two years ago)

I've always been curious about the Alpen Lodge and am pleased to hear it is good. Can we go there soon, can we, can we?

Madchen (Madchen), Thursday, 15 April 2004 11:30 (twenty-two years ago)

He only has one pillow case still to wash.

Madchen (Madchen), Thursday, 15 April 2004 11:30 (twenty-two years ago)

there aren't many tables, so get there early (you will end up drunk as BIG measures Voddy and coke is £1.50).

it's the top choice pre-optimo venue, je crois...

Robbie Lumsden (Wallace Stevens HQ), Thursday, 15 April 2004 11:32 (twenty-two years ago)

I like the one about Cookie, using Bounce.

Mooro, it is queer how these mails keep bouncing.

I will text you.

the bluefox, Thursday, 15 April 2004 11:32 (twenty-two years ago)

cookie's bed is like the forth rail bridge.
